I just got back from Canada. America is a second world, blighted disaster in comparison. Their economy is sound, their home prices stable and even rising, their infrastructure well maintained. We are unwelcome economic immigrants in Canada, EXACTLY as Mexicans are to us.

I like the war in Iraq. It was cool. And now we have won! Go USA! And I think we should have a flat tax for everyone and debtor's prisons for those who do not meet their financial responsibilities. And I would also like to see the death penalty for J-walking.

I really do think the death penalty for J-walking is a bit harsh. Perhaps caning? We could all take a lesson from Singapore.

Oh, yeah, the death penalty for drug dealers (and why not users too). Also, while we're grabbing good ideas from progressive countries, why not institute the death penalty for homosexuals. They could be married, then immediately executed. ;-)

That's the spirit! Although caning is a bit harsh. I used to work at a canery and it would be awful messy. Plus, I don't even know what the shelf-life would be for a caned criminal.
