(Quote)Spitzer announced he would resign after he was accused of having sex with a 22-year-old call girl in Washington the night before Valentine's Day)

Hey, how come Spitzer was force to resign after having sex with a 22 years old girl but the Catholic priests accused of having sex with young boys are not forced to resign?

Hillary Rodham Clinton loses an influential superdelegate in Spitzer while Obama gains one in Paterson. Things keep looking bleaker and bleaker for Camp Clinton, regardless of how they gloss things over. Obama actually gained more delegates in Texas than Clinton yet she staged a "comeback" according to Wolf Blitzer because Saturday Night Live (a show only viewed by stoners with no plans for the weekend) is campaigning for her. Please! Her greed will be her undoing, much as it was Spitzer's. I want to wish he best of luck to Gov. Paterson and I want to encourage him to be a vocal supporter of Barack Obama's much as Spitzer was to Clinton.

Shut up, moron. You're calling a guy with over two decades of political experience a "dumbass"? A guy who's accomplished more in one week than you ever will your entire life?
Who are you? A genius? Judging by your nearing 2000 post count here on Topix, you're a classless, embittered angry fool with lots of free time on his hands and does nothing but troll on Topix. Don't you work? Don't you go to school? Where do you find all this time to post close to 2000 comments in less than a year? 365 days in a year and you have nearly 2000 posts!
What a loser!

Mr. Paterson is on record as supporting HRC, but he doesn't get Mr. Spitzer's superdelegate vote. That's just the way the cookie crumbles.

What I'd like to know is, Why were you so sure that Mr. Paterson supported Sen. Obama? Plenty of Black NYers have sided with Hillary, and he's one of them. The NY Democratic machine cast their lot with her early on, to the consternation of many other democrats.

Look's like Patterson was a "Player" too.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/18/nyregion/18...

He may have even used campaign funds to pay for his hotel stays during his extra-marital affair...

In a series of interviews with The News in the past few days, Mr. Paterson said that he had an affair starting in 1999 and ending in 2001.

The governor said in the interview that he used a Days Inn at West 94th Street and Broadway for some of his romantic meetings but that he never used campaign money to pay for the rooms; payments to the hotel show up in Mr. Paterson’s campaign records for 2001, but he said that some of his staff members also stayed there. Payments to the hotel are listed in Paterson campaign records for 2002 and 2003.
