Based on your reply to Irish Jack (and please don't assume our hoof n mouth diseased friend to be the stadard bearer of the Irish) I'd say you're funny in excess. I think lonely is the root of the human condition which is of course somewhat counterintuitive for such a social animal as we. Our powers of contemplation do lead to a lonely knowle ultimately, but here's the important part? If we can get there with just one person, then we've done well and better than many (perhaps most). If we can get there with two, we are rich in spades despite what the hip and so-called popular may believe. Most melt away for the sake of a little heat in the end as most of them do learn. Lastly, yes! There's someone there for everyone sane (there's someone for you) if you can believe it. If you can express in a meaningful and universal way your pain such that others can identify, you'll be seen with some reverence. You find out how many other lonely and hurt souls there are out there when you write a sad song and people latch on to it like it was important. That's what happend to me. I stopped writing, and that was a huge error on my part. Maybe there's something you let go by the wayside in your depression which might have sustained you better? If so, I would recommend fighting to reclaim whatever that self expression might have been even if it was for your own eyes, ears, and enjoyment only. I decided to start writing again, but only after lung disease which ravaged my voice and after sustaining nerve damage in my arms which makes Guitar work very difficult. These are challenges which make the effort all the harder, but perhaps more meaningful (I hope). I can't afford to regret what I didn't do when I had better capabilities. I have to do what I can and find meaning now. As sappy as all that sounds, it's the only thing that keeps me going (the thought and perhaps even remote possibility of creating something great - and I'd be a whole lot closer to content even if I were the only one who thought it was great). Good luck to you in any event, and don't be so hard on yourself. I think pretty highly of what you've had to say here, and I think it's important.

How is everyone? I hope everybody is doing alright. I am having an alright time, nothing really to complain about. Don't really have much to tell, I've been trying to keep a positive frame of mind. Hopefully it has reflected more in my posts lately. I'm trying not to reflect my pain on the others. Its a hard habit to break. Sometimes somebody will say something sh!tty and it will get under my skin. I'm trying to just take things one step at a time and move forward. I wish the bickering would stop between certain posters. I'm am a person, so could certain poster stop toying with me. I hope everybody has a wonderful weekend.:)

I try not to pay too much attention to the news. I don't watch much TV and only usually read the local paper. I see things on the internet. We always hear lots of news about the American election, but I try to avoid the news because it can make me feel worse. I saw something today that I found hilarious though. A Story About Everybody

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it. Everybody was sure Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.

Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. I ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

6 Year Old vs. Evolution Teacher

One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in the classroom.
The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children.
The teacher asked a little boy:

Teacher: Tommy do you see the tree outside?
Tommy: Yes

Teacher: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?
Tommy: Yes

Teacher: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.
Tommy: OK,(He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.

Teacher: Did you see God?
Tommy: No

Teacher: That’s my point. We can’t see God because he isn’t there.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions. Teacher agreed and she asked the boy:

Little Girl: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?
Tommy: Yes

Little Girl: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?
Tommy: Yesssssss (getting tired of the questions by this time).

Little Girl: Tommy, did you see the sky?
Tommy: Yesssssss

Little Girl: Tommy, do you see the teacher?
Tommy: Yes

Little Girl: Tommy, do you see her brains?
Tommy: No

Little Girl: So, then if you can’t see them, then that must mean that she doesn’t have any.
