Oh, please!! Are you referring to "Beth" - what a mo - I even had Choose start a little shit on the Chit Chat thread which was easily handled. People who are so extreme are just askin for it, if you ask me. I'll be sure and pop in from time to time - I'm not as verse in the Bible, etc as many but I know how I feel about ANY hard line religion so, it will be my pleasure! So pleased to have made your acquaintance - :) |

Hi OF - I'm all for praying but if the religious people really knew how I went about it and to whom I "prayed" they would shrivel up with confusion and overwhelming angst as to how to "save me". When I've had a healthy dose of NoDoze, I'll check the manifesto out. Nice to meet you. |

Yep, Sandusky. Cedar Point has been voted best amusement park in the world several times. The main attractions are the coasters. Cedar Point seems to be the innovator, at least in the US. They make the tallest and fastest, but someone always "one ups" them the next year. It's pretty cool looking over Lake Erie from the top of Millennium Force at 310 feet. |

Fish,
Finally got an answer on the XM/Sirrius merger. WASHINGTON (AP)- Federal regulators formally approved the merger of the nation's only two satellite radio operators Friday, ending a 16-month-long drama closely watched by Washington and Wall Street. Sirius Satellite Radio Inc.'s $3.3 billion buyout of rival XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. will mean 18 million-plus subscribers will be able to receive programming from both services. Executives say it will mean huge cost savings that will lead to a first-ever profit for the relatively nascent industry. The Federal Communications Commission voted 3-2 to approve the buyout, with the tiebreaker coming Friday night from Republican commissioner Deborah Taylor Tate. Tate had insisted that the companies settle charges that they violated FCC rules before she would approve the deal. The companies agreed this week to pay $19.7 million to the U.S. Treasury for violations related to radio receivers and ground-based signal repeaters. FCC Chairman Kevin Martin confirmed the final vote Friday night. ``I think it's going to be, in the end, a good thing for consumers and be in the public interest,'' Martin told The Associated Press.``Consumers will enjoy a variety of programming at reduced prices and more diversified programming choices.'' Subscribers will not have to buy new radios to receive a mix of programming from both services, according to the companies. But if they want to pursue a special pay-per-channel a la carte option, they will need new sets. |
And a big HELLO to you too! |
|
I hadn't heard anything in so long that I assumed the deal fell through. Thank you for the very interesting update, duk! |
