I find some of his early pieces droll and lacking in substance. I particularly am fond of his song "Just Eat It". Some find it pretentious and somewhat repetitive. I believe that Weird Al's main achievement lies in his synthesis and advanced development of the primary satirical idiom. But, then again what do I know? I forgot to put pants on before I left the house. |
