80's Music.....

Name your favorite bands and songs.

The 80's was quite an impressionable time for me, especially with MTV starting up when I was only 10 years old.
I remember running over to my best friends house, next door because she had MTV and I didn't. We couldn't wait to see any new-
Duran Duran, The Police, Pat Benatar, Bon Jovi, Adam Ant, The cars, Van Halen, Prince, Michael Jackson, etc....

I remember when that CD first came out... WOW! The energy was incredible!

Technically it's from 1979, but I'm sure it played well into 1980. I love this song to. It use to make me cry. I have chills listening to it right now.
I also love the soundtrack from Beaches.Beautiful movie and songs. Talk about chills!

It was made in 1987. It hit the charts from 88-89.

I remember waiting for their videos to come on to.

Very intense album! Still love it today!

You know that is one of my favorite movies when I feel down, my best friend back home we are close like in this movie, and when she almost died, I thought I was going to die too! I would have had to move in with her hubby and take care of her kids, I made that promise to her.

I didn't like it when it came out, but it has grown on me through the years. A lot of good memories come up when I hear it.
