the KJV? what happened to the books of Esdras I and II, Tobit, Judith, Esther, the Wisdom of Solomon, the Wisdom of Sirach, Baruch, Susannah, the Song of the Three Children, the Prayer of Manasseh, and Maccabees I and II.

please tell me what happened to these books in the bible that so many claim that nothing was changed or removed?

The Protestants or the Lutherans took those books out. The Catholic bible still has those books in it.

What is really funny is any thread that has anything to do with Christians draws every one else. Pagans, satanist, trolls anyone looking for an arguement comes in and then twist the thread so nothing Christian can even be brought forth without stirring up an arguemnt.

There are thousands of threads from which to choose, yet it is the Christian ones who take the abuse. Most come into Christian threads with a bellicose attitude and think we will simply turn the other cheek.

I, for one do not believe Jesus wanted us to be doormats. We can offer the Good News and if it is not received, shake the dust from our feet and move on......

Reread Cubby's post. He in no way attributed evil to Jesus. He attributed evil to "your judgemental attitude". That is a completely different, and too often valid assertion.

Seriously, it isn't just the Christian threads this happens to. It happens everywhere. And everywhere it happens, someone complains as though their threads were the only ones to suffer such interlopers, though, of course, they aren't.

For one example (among many) see here: http://www.topix.net/tech/2007/08/dinosaur-ma... where a thread about discovery of a fossil bed has more posts by Young Earth creationists and anti-evolutionists and Blanket (whatever category his particular insanity falls in) than by those actually trying to discuss the significance of the find.

Note: I didn't choose a thread where "Christians" were the interlopers in order to offend. It is just that they are the most common interlopers on the science forums I look at most.

Hardly. Your first point was "that any thread that has anything to do with Christians draws every one else."

While it isa true that Christian threads can and do draw non-Christians as well, and I agree that my presence does bear out that claim, My point was that this is Not a characteristic unique to Christian threads. It happens to all of them.

If they think that, they can't have been on Topix for long. ;-) And if you would care to look back at my first post in the thread, you will find that it is just what to me seems a perfectly reasonable question, which has not yet been answered. No bellicose attitude there.

i have a question, if you have a low self-esteem and are a self loather, can you treat your neighbor like crap then?
