Nope I don't hate white people. However I do dislike certain people of all races and it's not because of their race either. It's either their ignorance, immaturity, character or mentality. Besides isn't this black and white thing getting old.

Every race has thier idiots, there is someone in every race that can dance, smells nasty, looks drity, so come on and dont be so judgement on one race!

New Jersey is, IMHO one of the most racist parts of the country, more than most of the South. Because of the fact that there are many, many groups of people living on top of one another. It's crowded, expensive and high stress.

White people have their own share of problems, and black people get blamed for some things that are not their fault, but the cities of New Jersey have been absolutely ruined by the decline of the black population there. It's just a fact and many black people in those cities will admit it, including Corey Booker the mayor of Newark.

this is a stupid question because you can't speak about a group of people 'cause we all are different of each other so don't waste time talking about "these people do or not".

White slave owners purposely bred black slaves to have low intelligence. If a black slave proved to be of high intelligence, he was usualy separated and on some occasions killed. White slave owners very purposely kept blacks from learning. White slave owners thought that by keeping the moral low, and keeping the blacks humble by various means, they would be much easier to control. They were right. It was evil, but they were right. The problem was, that when the non slave owners who thought that slavery was a blight on our nation (I agree) and that they should be set free, they did not take into consideration the damage (psychological, spiritual) that had been perpetrated on the blacks, and what the eventual outcome would be. And even though the whites that were responsible for their freedom saw slavery as a terrible evil, they were not ready to have them in their homes, or in their neighborhoods, or in their schools.

I ask you, how would you and your past generations held up under such treatment ? Would you be loving and kind to your counterparts ? Would the memories of hangings and lack of opportunity for years and years haunt your mind ?

Dont get me wrong. If a black man, full of hatred ever sought to harm me or mine, he could find himself on the mortuary slab in a hot second. There would be NO hesitation. But, I would tend to give the black man a littel more leway, given the past, then say a hate filled evil eyed white, yellow, purple, pink other colored fellow. But thats just me.

eeeesh... i'm starting to think we are moving backwards into medieval times or even further when reading some posts... hard to imagine this is 2008 and the age of the supposedly "progressed and civilised"...

black, white, brown, yellow, pink, purple, multi-coloured, bleached, blonde, brunette, tanned, whatever... whatever happened to the individual?

i think i'll just continue happily as colour blind - its way more peaceful, harmonious and tolerant in the land of the shades of grey, and it rewards me with the most interesting circle of friends and family

Its easyfor u to sit in your lilly white community and pontificate about race relations. Try living in Atlanta,GA for 6 months and I bet you'll see things a lot differently. If your not a racist, you haven't lived in a predominately black community.

Seriously, I was raised to believe in my heart that all men are created equal. Then, what they become is their doing. You can be raised by an abuser, poor, drug addicted parents, but when your grown it's up to you who you turn out to be. I get tired of smiling at black people in the stores or on the street (i smile at everyone because they are ppl) and they 95% of the time look at me like they hate everyone. I do not treat blacks badly nor do i teach my children to. They have a grudge against me or racism themselves or something. I have grown very tired of their bitterness causing them to hate me for being white. I am tired of the race card being pulled for every little thing. I am tired of these idle threats of how a whole group of blacks will jump you if you say the "n" word around them. If we were to "jump" a black person for the double standard word such as "cracker" they would pull the race card. We can't just ignore the 95% of the ppl doing this to us. It's time for the black ppl to teach their children that none of us owned slaves in this day and time so quit hating us. Let's drop that double standard too.Another thing, when i was growing up there were no black people where i lived. When i was thirteen, we moved to an area where there were quite a few blacks. Mom had taught us to always respect people and that we were all equal. The first night we were there a group of black males(approx 20) jumped me. I was walking home from a ballgame at about 7pm. Those guys groped, shoved ripped at my hair inside my pants and finally i got away because someone pulled up in a car to help me. I don't trust black men in a big group anymore but its not because they are black. Don't pull the race card. That was attempted rape.Not racism on my part but prob. on theirs.
I don't think i am better than anyone but i am tired of the black double standard. If i had that whole night to do over again i would have prosecuted. I didn't want to be put through hell in a new town or try to find out names. More and more i am getting to the point that i no longer want anything to do with black people unless i know them pretty well from living where i do I feel that they think they are above the law because 200 years ago someone was a slave that was black so it's my fault!!!

I agree with you 100%.It's like we have to figure what the latest complaint they have against us is. I no longer try to look at or speak to black strangers in public. If they are that full of bitterness and hate, i guess i'll see them at world war three if thats how they want this thing to play out. I'm done kissin up
