Bu--er off, EJ. You've done nothin' for the world since Diana's funeral, which you turned into a photo-op. But Jesus probably could find something worthwhile in you...poor me, I can't.

First of all, I don't hate Christians and never said I did. Secondly, I only use that particular religion to make a point when it is a Christian spewing intolerance to others. As far as religion in schools goes, if the prayers being said were of the Hindu, Buddhist or Islamic faiths, then would the Christians want to keep religious influences in these institutions? Just because the Christian religion was used as an example in civil liberty cases involving the act of prayer on state-owned property doesn't mean that's the only religion being thwarted. these laws stand for all religious entities, as a Muslim wouldn't be allowed to throw a rug out and prostrate himself facing Mecca without there being repurcussions. Christians should be thankful for the precedent regarding thes cases.

Our poor excuses wrote: <quoted text> ...even their women... ...gave them over to a depraved mind... He seems to have trouble getting through to you. He did leave a message: Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.(Rom 1:24-28) My desire is simply for you to have eternal life: to be rid of your condemnation and shame rather than rationalize it away or conceal it. What don't you understand about "I DON'T FOLLOW YOUR MAN WRITTEN BIBLE"? You're such a fool.

Evolution occurs at the DNA level and introduces new info., cross-breeding does not! Stan wrote: <quoted text> Cross- breeding and mutation that lead to a uneque reproducability from pairing with the same (new) species are both evolution. If that is not the case it is not.

Our poor excuses wrote: <quoted text> Um - your mouth. I read it again. You stated that you despise religion. And as one reads your posts your hatred seems to be oriented to the God who revealed himself in the Bible. I know it isn't trendy to say hate but it is OK with me for you to say it. You are a hater. Your difficulty seems to stem with the condemnation scripture has for you. I did see that you are a homosexual. You know that is an abomination and against the nature itself. You are not condemned because you have sinned in an aweful manner. We all have sinned and can never measure up. So I am not condemning you, you are condemned on your own. You sin because you are a sinner like everyone else. Your opinions in these forums are attempts to rationalize this away and even find others to support you in your thinking. You do not know the God of the bible - you have made one up to meet your desires. This is termed: idol. In all your reading you might look at this one part again. Jesus did not arrive here to condemn you. He did not come to provide you a better example. He came to substitute Himself in your/our/my place so that we would not have to be punished and see separation from God. You can believe this today for the forgiveness of sin. Or you can continue to try to justify yourself. He can take your shame, he took on all rejection and shame as He hung on the cross. People like you always talk a lot about the bible, God and Jesus. The one thing I never hear any of you say....Judge not lest ye be judged. Wonder why that is?

Thet is exactly the same process as a mutation of the DNA, if that mutation is permanently reproduceable. Both are new creatures that have evolved, just the mechanism was different. If however, given time, the creatures revert to original forms then that would not be evolution.

Can you name one example of such a mutation that has translated throughout a species and throughout its future generations? And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever.(Thomas Jefferson)

Mister Freedom wrote: The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. --Abraham Lincoln ` It is fit and becoming in all people, at all times, to acknowledge and revere the Supreme Government of God; to bow in humble submission to His chastisement; to confess and deplore their sins and transgressions in the full conviction that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and to pray, with all fervency and contrition, for the pardon of their past offenses, and for a blessing upon their present and prospective action. And whereas when our own beloved country, once, by the blessings of God, united, prosperous and happy, is now afflicted with faction and civil war, it is peculiarly fit for us to recognize the hand of God in this terrible visitation, and in sorrowful remembrance of our own faults and crimes as a nation and as individuals, to humble ourselves before Him and to pray for His mercy...that the inestimable boon of civil and religious liberty, earned under His guidance and blessing by the labors and sufferings of our fathers, may be restored.(Abraham Lincoln) Here is the text of Lincoln's Proclamation Appointing a National Fast Day, issued March 30, 1863: Whereas, the Senate of the United States devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and just Government of Almighty God in all the affairs of men and of nations, has, by a resolution, requested the President to designate and set apart a day for national prayer and humiliation:(Abraham Lincoln)

I tell you where you stand with me, before I or for that matter many people in this country let people like you religous fruitcakes dictate to us how we are to live you will have to stare down the barrell of our rifles. Got it!! This country belongs to all of us not just to you bible thumping types. Period end of discussion.
