I already knew that, actually.

But then, I actually talk to people from around the world. I still want to know how most people can be so isolated from the rest of the world even /with/ the Internet.

The sad part is, a good bit of that is based in fact. Most Americans couldn't have even located Afghanistan on a map just ten years ago (and quite a large portion of them still can't, I suspect).

Selfish? We are the most charitable country ever. We have created more innovations of use to humankind than the rest of the world put together. Fat? Yeah, but we are working on that. Greedy? I know some very nice people in the UK who I get along with very well...and we hold a mutual understanding that is political correctness that is killing the education system in schools/colleges that give younger people these false views...americans are a very giving people even to the point of giving our traditional values away to appease others......

When I was in the Navy I remember being in some bar in Gibralter. Alot of guys from my ship were there and a lot of guys from a British ship were there. There was a Brit jazz band there that truly sucked.
Anyway, the Brits didnt like it that we Americans like their band and a brawl ensued. To make a long story short, we Americans put quite the asswhoopin on the Brits, they didnt stand a chance.

This is typical of a Limey. They're JEALOUS of Americans and always have been. The blokes live in a very Classist society, 90% of them live in rented flats. the working class don't own more than what's in their flats other than a small 'funny car' or a motorcycle. They are very aware that We had to rescue their poor asses in WW1 And WW2. They even tell their younger generation that Americans only arrived at the very end of the wars and just 'got in the way' They won't mention the fact that we "loaned" them billions of dollars to rebuild their country and was never repaid. Their taxes are 65% and they Support their Bloody Queen and the rest of that deecadent crowd in high fashion. Their wimpy assed limp wristed parliment has allowed the country to be overun with Wogs (indians) and Ragheads. I would be very pissed too if I had to live in that Island shithole.
