"god" "him"self would have to show up and convince me personally. Nothing less will suffice. All of your alleged "evidence" requires faith, and as such, is disregarded.

I would be more easily convinced, but again the evidence offered is woefully inadequate. None of the authors presented knew christ personally and most were writing at least a full generation after the crucifixion, total hearsay. There is also no collaborating evidence the Exodus ever happened.

I was born an atheist and remained so. My parents did not force feed me religion as yours obviously did. I attended religious school and decided then that it (religion) was a load of illogical bullshit. I have yet to see a reason to think otherwise, and your rants certainly do nothing to change that. In fact. if it were possible, with every post you'd push me further toward atheism. You are a perfect example of everything that's wrong with religion.

Go back to my post and re-read. Neither the word not the concept of "born" anything is conveyed. 2. One does NOT choose to disbelieve something for which there is no evidence - only a believer would offer that sort of non-logic. Did you make a conscious decision to disbelieve in King Kong? I trust not. No, if no god is foisted on you as a child then by about age 8 you begin to question the rationality of believers. My own children are testament to that.

I'm not offended- I was trying to offer humor. It didn't occur to me that your question was sincere. Since you weren't being sarcastic, I'll answer your question. This was your question: And how do you KNOW that?'cause mummy and dada told you so? For the purpose of offering some intelligent discourse, I will presume that you refer to your mother as mummy, and your father as dada. Assuming that we are speaking of my parents, they are irreligious people, and aren't at all responsible for my spiritual beliefs.

May as well do this one more time: Is your "truth" any more real than my "truth"? Where did your "truth" come from? Man? Where did my "truth" come from? God, through His Spirit. How do you know your "truth" is true? You must rely on the accounts of man, who is imperfect and flawed and sinful and untrue. How do i know my "truth" is true? i have received Him, and it comes not from the beliefs of man, but from the Living Word of The Creator. SPIRITUAL FAITH vs. MANS FACTS: Man has erred since the beginning of time, and will not be perfected until changed from the body of flesh to the spiritual body. FAITH is to hold on to The One this is perfect, The Master of our design. We do this with confidence and conviction, as it is not from a man-made source, but a direct connection from God The Creator Himself. We need no middle-man or no mortal to be one with The Spirit. There is no need to rely on imperfection. Mans "FACTS" have as much value to an Eternal Future as the shifting sands of time. GOD is timeless, and by offering us the gift of love through Jesus Christ, no questions man can possibly answer remain. The ways of the world are NOT the ways of God ...

Any truth that is not accompanied by verifiable supporting evidence is at best faith. There is no truth in faith. Most religious folk read scriptures written by men they know are flawed but they still insist it is the inerrant word of God. This is delusion at best. If you can not produce verifiable supporting evidence of your "connection with God" then it too is a delusion at best. If you were sincere in your believe that you have a "direct connection with God the Creator himself." you would not hesitate to offer verifiable proof of this connection. You did not. This leads me to believe you are yet another Christian liar. Why do Christians lie so much? Why would anyone want a religion based on lies?
