How you are winning souls for Jesus?

I'd love to hear from you. Together, we can make a difference for Jesus.

What has Jesus done in your life lately?

Has he healed you of anything?

Has he taken you out of bondage to self?

God is good. Jesus is coming back soon. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Jesus has 'sounded the alarm.

Good evening, I'll share with you some of what Jesus has done in my life.

Jesus 'rewards' are the many blessing I receive here on earth. I don't serve Him to 'get something in return. My reward is God's love for me. I'm a willing Servant of the Lord. I love the Lord, and I know the Lord loves me. I believe He rewards me for my faithfulness to Him. Jesus has chosen me as to be a witness to others about His goodness.

The Lord bless the 'just and the unjust alike' my Bible says.

One of Jesus' rewards I received was the gift of life that I now have. He made me whole, and put me in my right mind. You see, I was one of the lost that the Bible talks about, I was a junkie on drugs, drank Mad Dog 20/20 wine (rock-gut), deep in sin, hateful, spiteful, jealous, low self-esteem, haughty, arrogant, did not have any friends, was a loner and lonely person, isolated myself from having healthy relationships, looked for love in all the wrong places, and did not care about myself or anyone else. I could go on and on and on. God changed me, then He rewarded me by healing my mind, delivering me from drugs and alcohol, restored relationships with my family.

You see, I only cared about who had the drugs. I could not communicate with others on any type of level. My vocabulary was limited to 'where's it at' and 'who's got it.' I'm not saying I'm the best communicator now, because I know the Lord is not done with me yet. Jesus is still working on me. God has me here for a reason. Its my season.

I hope I shed a little light about my love for Jesus and His reward for me. I'm happy Jesus loves me that much to bless me. I receive all blessings Jesus rewards me with. I'm not ashamed of Jesus' rewarding me. I can witness to others about His goodness and that He will do the same for he or she. Jesus is making me into His image.

The Good News is, Jesus is coming back soon and He will have His reward with Him. I believe I will get to spend eternity with Jesus. That's my ultimate reward. Praise the Lord. Glory, glory.

God is good. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Jesus is coming back soon. Jesus has sounded the alarm.

Why would you post this in Top Stories where it was destined to become fodder for he vultures? This seems like something that fits better in the Christian Forum.

Christians are the scavengers, silly. You even eat your savior and drink his blood.

Something about that just doesn't seem right to me.

Are christians actually vampires?

Didn't you know it's blasphemous to inject logic into religion?

I didn't mention transubstantiation.

You all do it, you eat a cracker that represents the flesh of Jesus, and drink a shotglass full of juice that represents the blood of Jesus.

Yet you don't see this as strange.

Are you sure you guys aren't actually vampires?

Am I going to have to call Blade?

Hey, I can't help if you don't see the difference between symbol and actual.

Don't hate me because I'm Christian *flips hair*

One day at mass, the priest angrily chastised the congregation during his homily for believing the Eucharistic bread was symbolic of taking Christ in. He advised that we had a duty to believe in trans-substantiation -- that the bread wafer and wine literally transformed into Christ's body and blood. That was merely one symptom of the many factors that lead me to leave the church.

Logical religion. Religious logic.

Both oxymorons in my book!

Good thing I'm not Catholic. Even when Jesus did it, it was purely symbolic of giving his life for them. I can here X now, "Jesus is dead silly" or "That never happened, silly". That's ok, I like being silly...it's way better than super serious.

The best you should hope for, Miss (halo-polishing) Sister Phyllis, is to encourage others in a consideration of Christ. YOU will not save any souls. What makes you think you can do what Christ cannot?

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Pisces

Whether the excesses of the past few days are catching up with you or you're feeling drained for other reasons, you need as much rest as possible today. Once you get tired, your defenses will be down and you'll start to fret about whatever is currently nagging away at the back of your mind. You're also concerned about the welfare of a certain person, which doesn't help.
