GOP presidential debate: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich spar in Florida primary showdown

Romney won the debate. Newt was on the defensive most of the time, and Mitt threw a couple of punches that drew blood. The best moment was confronting Newt on his reckless proposal for moon colonies. Romney called him out on going from one state to the next promising hundreds of billions of dollars with the goal of buying votes. Great job, Mitt,

both these guys are corrupt and they think about interests of their own pockets and lobbysts, who support them. Supporting such people is really very dumb idea.

People got a brief glimpse of Newt in the raw. He was confronted and blinked. I waited for Mitt to smash him like a bug, but it didn't happen. None of the candidates seem to take him out with one blow as well. Had any one of them asked Newt if what he did for Freddie Mac was not close to lobbying, why would he waste money on hiring a lawyer to counsel them on lobby laws. Either he is a liar, or waste money. Either way, he would have been toast. Still the show goes on. Guess we will watch them fight it out over the air, with the Super PACs. We shall see what the voters say in the end.

If you knew anything at all about Romney's life, you wouldn't make such inflammatory statements. Romney has donated millions of dollars to charity. He donated his entire inheritance to charity. He donated all the money he made in the Olympic games to charity, as well as donating one million to the Olympic games. He is a model citizen of integrity and selflessness.
