LoveGod57 wrote: Fools make a mock at sin,.... At sinful actions, their own or others; they make light of them, a jest of them, call evil good, and good evil; take pleasure in doing them themselves, and in those that do them; yea, sport themselves with the mischief that arises from them unto others; they make a mock at reproofs for them, and scoff at those that instruct and rebuke them; and laugh at a future state, and an awful judgment they are warned of, and in a scoffing manner say, "where is the promise of his coming?" Some, as Aben Ezra observes, render it "a sin offering"; and interpret it of the sin offerings and sacrifices under the law, as derided by wicked men; but may be better applied to the sin offering or sacrifice of Christ, who made his soul an offering for sin, to make satisfaction and atonement for the sins of his people; this is mocked at by false teachers, who deny it; and is exposed to derision and contempt by the Papists, by their bloodless sacrifice of the mass, and by their merits and works of supererogation, which they prefer to the sacrifice and satisfaction of Christ. The words may be rendered, "sin makes a mock of fools" (h); it deceives them, it promises them pleasure, or profit, or honour, but gives them neither, but all the reverse; but among the righteous there is favour: they enjoy the favour of God and man; or "there is good will" (i), good will towards men; they are so far from making a mock at sin, and taking delight in the mischief that comes by it to others, that they are willing to do all good offices unto men, and by love to serve their friends and neighbours: or "there is acceptance" (k); they are accepted with God upon the account of the sin offering, sacrifice, and satisfaction of Christ, which fools mock and despise You'd make a very good preacher, but all your doing is just that, preaching, to many of us that amounts to just so much "white noise." A couple of questions for you, NOW please don't preach to me, I'm an Atheist, just, if you can, answer them in your OWN voice. 1.) Sin is a religious concept, it doesn't apply to those of us who are not in your "club." Example. Using god name in vain, or being blasphemous is consider a sin, but I don't believe there is a god, so when I use his name as a swear word there can be no sin on my part. You consider it a sin, but that is NOT factual. 2.) Good and evil are terms we use to describe events or actions we find acceptable of unacceptable. Most pee would consider slavery as evil, but God fully supports slavery in the bible, so to god its ok, but to many of us its evil. How can you derive any morals from the bible? If stoning to death your misbehaving teen as god instructed, is that an example of morality? God is fully in support of slaughtering children and telling Moses to kill everyone but the young virgins, they, the soldiers can keep for themselves. Is this also an example of morality? All of this is contained in your bible, I'm just wondering how anyone can find these instructions from god moral. 3.) Sin also includes rejecting Jesus, or god, actually one of the same, I don't believe either existed or exist, so I can have no sin. Looking at a women with lust in my heart, the bible says have committed adultery, if I am unmarried there is no sin. If I am an women looking with lust on another women, there is no sin. 4.) All any needs to be a decent person is the Golden Rule, don't do to others as you would not want done to you, simple, no gods needed.

Your first paragraph is utterly ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense. "Gods wisdom is a mystery that has been HIDDEN. None of the rulers of this age understood it." No of course not, it was a MYSTERY, HIDDEN. If so, then how does anyone KNOW anything about "gods wisdom?" How do you know it even exists? "What no eyes have seen" "What no ear has heard." "What no human mind can conceive." If we can't see it, hear it, or conceive of it, then quite simply it DOES NOT EXIST!!! Pretty simple logic. "The spirit searches all things even the deep things of God." What are the deep things of God?" Since gods wisdom is beyond human conception, beyond what we can see and hear, how does a spirit find these hidden things? Your talking in circles with no real information. I asked a simple question, "What is a spirit." And my answers are, Gods wisdom is hidden, a mystery, no one can see hear or conceive it, the spirit searches all things." Good job at avoiding any reasonable answer. All I have gotten is religious Mumbo Jumbo. Thanks for the NON_ANSWER!!!!! You really have no idea what a spirit is do you?? LOL

See how full of shit you are. "Who has known the mind of the lord, but we have the mind of Christ." Your Christian doctrine proclaims that Jesus, God and the Holy Ghost are all apart of the trinity, three being in one. God and Jesus are one of the same, So how ca we NOT know the mind of the lord, but have the mind of Christ? Once again your preaching makes zero sense. All you do is combine wonderful sounding words and phrases, whether they make logical sense seems to be the last consideration Here let me try. "The mind of the lord is vast, a vast realm where only god may go, it is here that we can find the only truth. The truth that has eluded mankind for centuries can be found here, but only the mind of God can go there. Search this vast realm for the one and only truth" There, how's that for some serious bullshit?

If I presented the fact that I knew for certain that the earth was created by the fish gods of Neptune, people would question me, call me insane, ask for evidence. Do you think I should take offense to these comments? If you make a positive statement about anything, be prepared to support your position, or simply don't post. Do you post here to preach? Do you demand that everyone agree with your position? Grow up, this is a site for adults, be prepared to defend your position or go play with your toys!!!!

There can be no TRUTH when something is only imagined. You imagine this god thing, you have to because it can't be real. What Christians do is divide people not bring them together. Each little Christian religion has their own specific set of rules, like an exclusive club, if you don't belong to my club and follow its rules, then you will be tortured for all eternity. Christianity is dangerous because of its divisiveness, because it discourages free inquiry, and promotes the teachings of the bible which in many cases is highly immoral. The bible condones slavery, and blood sacrifice, both are immoral. You think you are somehow doing good, but all you are doing is promoting the immoral teachings of the bible and a faults god. If in fact your God is real, then he is a demon god, a cruel, genocidal maniac with a bad temper and evil beyond comprehension.

“He who in this oneness of love, loves me in whatever he sees, wherever this man may live, in truth this man lives in me…I am from everlasting the seed of eternal life…in its delusion the world knows me not…all beings have their rest in me…I am the way…he who loves me shall not perish…only by love can men see me, and know me, and come unto me…malignant men hate me…they come not to me, but they go down the path of hell”. Krishna — the Bhagavad Gita (c. 500 B.C.) Hmmmmm.......Sounds very familiar don't it so-called "christians." These are the words of Krishna, the Hindu savior God, from which you stole your scripture from. Let's take a look at some more PLAGIARIZED spiritual teachings shall we: "The whole universe came forth from Brahman and moves in Brahman...In Brahman it lives and has its being" (Katha Upanishad). "Yet [God] is not far from each of us, for 'In him we live and move and have our being'..." (Acts 17:27, 28). "Living in the abyss of ignorance, yet wise in their own conceit, the deluded go round and round, like the blind led by the blind" (Mundaka Upanishad). "...they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit" (Matt. 15:14). "I destroy the darkness born of ignorance with the shining light of wisdom" (Lord Krishna, the leading Hindu incarnation of God; Bhagavad Gita, Ch. 10, vs. 11). "I am the light of the world: he who follows me will not walk in darkness but have the light of life" (Jesus, the Christian incarnation of God; John, Ch. 8, vs. 12). "...I am the origin of the whole world and also its dissolution...l am the beginning, the middle, and the end of all things" (Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita, Ch. 7 Vs. 6, Ch. 10 vs. 20). "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end" (Jesus in the book of Revelation, ch. 22 vs. 13). There are literally thousands like this that can be found in all the Sacred Text of Paganism, here I have just posted a few examples of the plagiarism that has happened. The Bhagavad Gita was written/compiled around 500BC; The Old Testament was written/compiled around 100BC; The New Testament was written/compiled around AD70; The Holy Bible was compiled around AD300 under Constantine. Tough evidence to dispute the claim of plagiarism seeing as how the Hindu text was clearly written first & the similarities are too close to be just "coincidence." Strange how Krishna seems to have taught the exact same thing as jesus & his life story is EXACTLY the same.......CHRISTIANITY IS PLAGIARIZED!!!!!

I HAVE A CHALLENGE QUESTION TO ALL YOU CHRISTIANS HERE. WHAT IF YOU'RE WRONG? I'll give my answer first seeing as I've actually considered the notion logically unlike you. Well if I’m wrong, then I’ll have to stand in judgment. The way I see it by my interpretations it will most likely go one of two ways. 1) Its too late, it was too late from the start; I believed what I believed, faking would have been a lie; I’m going to hell because he predetermined I was going to hell. 2) I’m provided the opportunity to apologize and repent my sins; and the gates of heaven are opened to me. Either way, there is noting I can do today to make ‘that scenario’ any different; because I’m not going to fake it for a “what if” and when faced with indisputable evidence I have no problem admitting I’m wrong. Additionally I’ve chosen to live my life the way I see fit; in a universally moral manner, not by the skewed outdated religious morals. I’ve chosen to live my life with a peace, balance and inner-spirituality that enriches my life and the lives of my friends and family. So if he has a problem with that, then maybe I have a problem with him. The real question then becomes,“Will I accept the offer of heaven?” If you are wrong, you have wasted years of your life just in going to church. Thousands of Sundays (or Saturdays) plus all the other times you went. Time you could have spent with friends and family, enjoying nature, or working out to keep yourself in better health. Add to that the time you spent praying that you could have been doing instead. If you’re wrong, how much time have you wasted? Now what about all the people you pushed your beliefs upon, some joining you in your beliefs that are wrong, others alienated forever. What about all the children you scared into submission with stories of hell or promises of heaven. What about the truly good people you shunned because they believed something different. On that note, what happens if you chose the wrong religion? What if Pagans or Buddhists have the right religion? Or what if Jesus was really a tool of the Devil? What if you are wrong and another god is really the true god? What if you are wrong and green aliens are going to come to earth and kill all the theists for believing there is something more powerful than them? I don't believe I'm wrong, same as you don't believe you're wrong. I do believe in God, just not your version of him/her and live my life the best I can. Why waste my time believing in something that I just cannot accept it would be a pure waste of a life & spirituality, I simply cannot trade the peace I feel with my belief for the fear that yours teaches.....Now can any of you give me a LOGICAL explanation & answer considering the notions above without averting & going to scripture for an answer. I want an explanation from your own thought process not that of brainwashed fundamentalism; WHAT IF YOU'RE ARE WRONG?

I believe in the teachings of Jesus cuz they ring true to me. At the end of the Day I have to live with myself. Too many people think God gave them brains for a paper weight and not something they should actually USE. They think that they are sure Granny went to heaven blah blah blah so it's good enough for them and they walk in traditions rather than actually looking for the principalities of God. They would throw scripture after scripture at you and not say one sentence of common sence. I think if you are really seeking truth - you'll find it .... according to the "BIBLE" God's gonna write his laws on our heart any way. The Bible - though it has it's place I guess, just gives more people amunition to be too darn judgemental.(for you "christians" reading this ... Adam and Eve ate that forbidden fruit - the knowledge of good and evil - the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil is Judgement - yo stupids - thats what got them kicked out of the garden of eden - but ya'll do it all the time and ya don't even know it! anyhow - I think most christians don't really understand what they are worshiping anyhow - just get it right with God - Jesus was a smart guy ... don't blame him for the hypocritical judgemental self-righteous idiots out there preaching a way to God that they can't even live.
