The Marines might be more elite, but most of them are jerks. The most respectable and patriotic guys join the Army. They also know how to keep their sense of humor...which is helpful once they get out.

If your head is up your own butt...join the Marines.;)

the U.S. military right now is busting it's ass off so you have freedom in this country that very few countries have. I may agree with what you say or what you do, but I will DAMN SURE put my own life on the line to make you have the right to do it. HOO-RAH!

Why be just a sniper? All it takes is steady nerves, controlled breath, a good eye, and ZOT! target gone, that's BS!

Crawl out there, be as silent as a snake, come up behind your enemy, put your hand over his mouth, feel his breath, smell his body, feel his hot blood pour over your hand when you sink your blade into his chest.

How do you know if USA is fighting in a war that is legitimate or illegitimate ?
also, Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11.

Join the Marines. It was the Marine Corps who selected the Barrett .50 caliber sniper rifle as their rifle of choice, and all the other armed services followed suit (just like they do with everything else).

It is the enemies CHOICE to wear a uniform or not. That is one of their strategies to avoide being killed, and to make the US look bad.

Don't fall for the hype...our military rocks...even the Marines!

We went to Iraq because Saddam snubbed his nose at inspections, and acted as if he had WMD. We gave him waaay to long to get rid of those things.

That was our only mistake.

Zip it!! You have no idea what you are talking about. Our military has done a lot to assist other countries. I suggest you do some research.

I shoot Highpower with current military all the time.

Most of the time the Army AMU has the best shooters.

The Marine Corps turns out better shooters across the board than any branch of the service. A Marine cook is usually a better shooter than a US Army infantry man.

I have seen US Army Airborne troops that my grandmother could out shoot.

But precision marksmanship is no longer taught in the US Army unless you are a sniper or one of the "designated marksmen" in the unit.

Telling the difference isn't hard at all. If they have a weapon or not. Iraqis in the war have weapons, but those who do not wish to be killed, we asked them to get rid of all their weaponry so we can fight the war. Most of them did. Those who did not are regarded as the enemy. By the way, i have no problem spilling innocent blood. Sometimes shit like this happens...deal with it.

Nice, but after being a sniper for about 5 years, I'm hoping to be a governmental "field agent." That's basically political correctness for government enlisted assassin. I've done tons of research on this.

I would recommend the Corps. The Army relaxed it's enlistment requirements to get enough bodies. So you could be serving with people that aren't the highest caliber. The Corps, on the other hand, makes sure that everyone is up to snuff. So you know that the backup or extraction teams are well trained and qualified.

Not to disparage Army snipers, at all. They are a locked and cocked bunch that know their stuff.

Oh. And Marines have the sharpest uniforms, too!

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Cancer

If you've been troubled lately, now's the time to seek a friend's counsel. Even just a little tea and sympathy will be nice, so plan to have lunch with someone simpatico. Everyone needs to spend a little time with someone who won't judge them; Cancer is often wonderful at giving this sort of unconditional affection but often has a harder time seeking it out. Accept a little TLC... you need it now.
