I'm tired of the fact that liberals and democrats are such wimps. We have truth on our side but are always shouted down by loud mouth neocons because we are too polite and thoughtful. I'm asking all freethinking smart people to take off the gloves and take control. Push, shove, name call, insult, whatever it takes. We must prevail or our country will be only a failed dream of what our fore-fathers had envisioned 232 years ago.

One thing I've noticed is dems get tired of repeating the truth but republicans never get tired of repeating their lies.

The very definition of "arrogance" suggests that the Democrats fit the definition more. Arrogant is someone that has a high opinion of ones own self, one who is overbearing, and conceited.

But then again, I could be describing a person who thinks they are too important to even fight for this country. A person that thinks they know more than the rest of us, that they miraculously gained more knowledge then everyone else. As if they were genetically predisposed to it. Overbearing? Sounds like those loons who want to force UHC, and cradle to the grave policies. Conceited? Hum, yeah! 400 dollar haircuts, political rock stars....

Do you realize that most Republicans, and Neo-Conservatives can not even get invited to some of the bigger prestigious Universities in America, because the Liberals there use Nazi style tactics in silencing them. Like death threats, chair throwing, and massive disrupting protests. It strikes me funny as to how you forget to mention what your side does. Take Colombia University that allowed a despot to preach in front of these "so called bright kids", who are our "so called future." No one threw chairs, and no one shouted him down, nor did they have massive protests protesting a "Foreign leader" who has a gross Human rights record, in flaying Gays in public, then hanging them. And political dissenters get locked up, to never be seen again. And you guys just flip on your side of the cuckoo aisle over Conservative Economists, and political pundits, commentators, like Ann H. Coulter, who try and speak at one of the Universities, but get shouted down, chairs thrown at them. C'mon! Polite! you guys are ghoulish people.

Is that why Republicans ally themselves with Jesus while they screw around on their wives, hump children while at the same time waving the flag?

I could ask you that same crazy question, like why do Democrats screw all their damn interns? and ally themselves with Satan. painting groups of people with a broad brush doesn't help. And, clearly you have issues with Christians, Like MOST Liberals do.

It is the fundie rightwingers who use those tired threats of eternal fire and brimstone to try to coerce others into believing as they do? Doesn't get any more vile or self-righteously judgemental than that. Ghoulish? It is the right-wingers who support a war in Iraq that has caused the deaths of over 100,000 Iraqi civilians, despite the fact Iraq had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11. Let's weigh that: chairs thrown by some liberal extremist whackos versus 100,000+ deaths. Hmmmm. BTW, nice job using extreme examples to make your point. The old broad-brush routine, eh?

Aligning ones self with a religious deity whom represents peace, faithfulness, and love; then goes around, and does the opposite, isn't the definition of "arrogance."

They are among the most self-righteously judgemental people on the planet and their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

And, clearly you have issues with Christians, Like MOST Liberals do. I like true Christians, the ones who don't have to show anyone and everyone how much they practice their faith, they don't talk the talk, they walk the walk. Clearly you're not one of those. Democrats aren't the ones squealing continually about how they "love the lord" (while the cameras are rolling). Clearly I have issues with fake Christians like "Pastor Ted", Republican politicians who pander to "the lord" on TV, Mark Foley and the child humping wing of the Republican party...yes indeed I most certainly do. Your BS "democrats ally themselves with satan" is typical fundie stupidity, so please do provide proof there is a god, that Jesus rose from the dead, that satan ever existed, all without using the bible as that is proof of nothing since your religion is a myth - you'll be busy for quite some time, so get going!

Hey FS, I was about to say the exact same thing: that he obviously doesn't get out much. You stole my thunder :) He also obviously judges people with his Christian-filtering glasses.

Belief in him is dangerous because it diminishes the concept of personal accountability.

I have not talked about my religion, so whatever! I was using your words against you, in case you haven't noticed. You were the one that mentioned Jesus. So, should I assume that you are a Christian? And I have no idea if there is a God, or not. Prove that there isn't one. Either people have faith or they don't, and if they do, then more power to those that do, and if they don't, then good too. I don't have issues with Christians or any other religious group for that matter. Are they being hypocrites? Big deal if they are. Don't listen to them. If they are being hypocrites, then thank your lucky stars that you're not one of their converts.
