The point you appear to be missing is that we are not telling them, nor are we threatening them for publishing such cartoons. In fact, Arab and Islamic papers around the world have been notorious for publishing anti Jewish racist cartoons and editorials for years. Suddenly, a few stupid cartoons come out in Denmark, and the Islamo Fascist are flaling all over themselves in fits of anger. It seems a bit staged to me. Remember, if you are not one of them, they would just as soon kill or enslave you too. Nowhere in Muslim dominated societies to non Muslims flurish. Ask youself why.

Good question tatto. What most everyone thinks when the Holocaust is mentioned is a slaughter of Jews. In this context the holocaust did happen, but lets not forget the the jews were the minority of people (total number) who died during that time. This isn't to minimize the incredible loss of human life but this is to look at what happened here.

This was an awful time but why do we give so much sorrow to the jews and not acknowledge others who died? I don't have bad feelings for any race, creed, color or anything because we are all HUMANS, and we better start thinking in that context.

Because we associate the holocaust with the Jewish people they have received special treatment throughout the years. This goes to the heart of the Iranian presidents statements. Why is it that Israel is allowed to produce nuclear weapons without any oversight and yet we haul Iran in front of the security council because we SUSPECT they want them. Why has Zionism succeeded, why was Israel declared a soverign nation? It's an easy argument to make that they were given it because of the guilt from the holocaust.

Is that right to the people who were already there? No! I think anyone could image that happening. Lets say martians came to earth and decided to move into New Jersey. They started buying the land and moving friends there. Eventually they have enough land and power to start controlling things. This is now a martian enclave and the people who have occupied the land for thousands of years are told it is no longer yours. I would be pissed off, and I would fight for my homeland, why are we blaming any Palenstinians because they do? Israel is recognized as an occupying force. Who among countries would take that laying down?

So yes, the holocaust did happen and it took 13 million HUMAN lives.(haven't studied that deeply, not sure of the exact numbers) How many millions die each year from malnutrition or treatable diseases or aids or any number of things. I think it is more insidious that humans die in this way, it is so needless.

Would the Jewish state exist if it wasn't for the holocaust, what is wrong with asking and debating this issue. I mean no ill will or offense to anyone.

This has nothing to do with right of freedom Of expression, this is just a childish re-action, freedom of expression don't mean to insult or to degrade others.

I say it again , As long as it is a cartoon war, fine. Maybe and only maybe people around the world come to getter r and learn to understands each others customs and way of life and learn to be more tolerant of others way of life

how dare such an insinuation be made about muslims- it is unreasonalbe short sighted people like mr reaver that perpetuats the cylcle of stupidity and inotlerance in the world - if muslims are such bad insane people then why is ameraica one of the most unhappy - miserable - fat - stupid - racist and now hated countries in thw world? americans shouls stop lokking at the world from their own warped perspective and relise that they do alot wrong while just and fair muslims are persicuted for nothing but pracising their own free peacfull faith. If people took the time to learn and understand what islam stands for and is about the world would be a better place, islam is at heart the most perfect decent and moraly correct ideolgy in the history of the earth - i challenge anyone to try just for 1 minute go find out about islam first - i garentee they wont be disapointed. Once you realise islam you will find a new state of well being that only truly complete human beings can identify with.
