Beads and underwear are never mentioned in the bible as holy. That is part of a ritual devised by man. The problem with organized religion is that we live in a world that has turned away from offending those who sin. I am not afraid to call sin just that...sin. The bible is the final authority in all matters.Regarding John chapter 1, GreenwoodGuy and Michelle are correct. John Coffey is incorrect.
The Word is Jesus Christ. This is common Christian knowledge.
I am not a Mormon, but I have to side with them on this one.
Also, how about some respect for what other people hold sacred?
Making fun of rosary beads or underwear is really sacriledge.
There are several evil trolls in this forum who are not displaying what I would call Christian behavior by ridiculing others beliefs.

The "Mormon Bible" is the King James Version of the Holy Bible. The Book of Mormon is another account of Jesus Christ. It's about different people than who are in the Bible, it's about the people who were in the America's at the time of Christ. However, there are some people who, for some reason, still believe that there were no other people on the planet during the time of Christ than those in what we now know as the Middle East. Go figure. |

Well then, if the Bible is the final authority in all matters, why don't you pay attention to it's Authority? "1. Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." -Matt. 7: 1-2 |

Why don't you start by telling everyone about YOUR underwear? Why is that any of your business? There certain things that just aren't your business. "¶ Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you." -Matt. 7: 6 |
I couldn't agree more. But don't say that to loud in here, the moronmons will get there special undie's in a bunch. |

How would you expect to get a straight answer when you treat us with such disrespect? |
lol. Jesus was God. It never ends how far off you are. Answer me this. When Jesus was in the garden, and when Jesus was on the cross, Who did he pray to himself. I can show you time and time again in Gods Word where It says Jesus is the Son of God, And Jesus calling God his Heavenly Father. But you can't show me these exact words in The Bible. Quote: "Jesus is God", or Quote: "Jesus saying I am God". Go show me either one of those 2 exact quotes in Gods Word. Once you've done that get back to me. Because I can show you time after time in Gods Word where it says Jesus is the Son of God. |

Michele, Danielle
HHtx has earned nothing in here except to be ignored. An obviously sick person fascinated with other peoples underwear. John Coffey, it is obvious there is no reasoning with him in that his agenda is simply to get the last word, no matter how incoherently stupid whatever he says might sound. He is doing the same thing with people on at least two other threads I am aware of. Oh well, you know what they say, he who laughs last. Can't wait until he has his ephiphany. So, that being said...how are the two of you doing? Looking forward to the wonderful testimonies you will hear tomorrow? I am. |

Thanks for the great reply, it is always nice to see someone who really enjoys a good testimony meeting. Unfortunately I have been inactive since March because of some personal problems in my life and I haven't been able to attend church. I am looking forward to getting back into the mix after my son is born this winter. |

A true prophet of God won't err in prophesying.
Only a false prophet does. Mormonism claims to be a prophet of God. Jesus warned us by saying, "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect -- if that were possible". |

Joseph Smith was a "con" man. His "con" has grown exponentially as mankind is gullible and wishes to believe in the unbelieveable. Gods on different planets, Kolob, etc. What's a sane person to think of all these mythical beings with control over mankind but never stepping to save the children from abuse, etc. Not very good, these "gods"! What were the first 176 pages that Smith dictated about. They were destroyed and he couldn't replicate them, had to use the Old Testament and the New Testament. Sham! That's all the bible and the book of mormon are, shams!

Joseph Smith, the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly known as the Mormons, claimed to be a prophet
of God. Was he a prophet of the true and living God? There are two ways to find out. First, compare what he says to Scripture and if what the Prophet teaches contradict Scripture, then he is false. The second way is to examine any prophecies that he has made. If a single prophecy fails, then the person is a false prophet. Please note that having several fulfilled prophecies and even a single false prophecy still means that the person is not a true prophet of God. The test for a prophet is not if he gets them most right, but all right. The Bible tells us... "But the prophet who shall speak a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die. And you may say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken? "WHEN A PROPHET SPEAKS IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, IF THE THING DOES NOT COME ABOUT OR COME TRUE, THAT IS THE THING WHICH THE LORD HAS NOT SPOKEN. The Prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him,". Joseph Smith made a false prophecy about the United States! "President Smith, in concluding his remarks, said that if the government, which received into its coffers the money of citizens for its public lands, while its officials are rolling in the luxury at the expense of its public treasury, cannot protect such citizens in their lives and property, it is an old granny anyhow: and I PROPHESY IN THE NAME OF THE LORD GOD OF ISRAEL, UNLESS THE UNITED STATES REDRESS THE WRONGS COMMITTED BY HER OFFICERS THAT IN A FEW YEARS THE GOVERNMENT WILL BE UTTERLY OVERTHROWN AND WASTED, AND THERE WILL NOT BE SO MUCH AS A POTSHERD LEFT. The United States never apologized for anything to the Mormon Church. The united states in government was not overthrown. Joseph Smith made a false prophecy. However, some Mormons teach that the Civil War was the fulfillment of this prophecy. It was not simply because the united states government was not utterly overthrown and wasted. In fact, it is still here today. Joseph Smith was a false prophet. "But the prophet who shall speak a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he shall speak in the name of other gods, THAT PROPHET SHALL DIE. And you may say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken? WHEN A PROPHET SPEAKS IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, IF THE THING DOES NOT COME ABOUT OR COME TRUE, THAT IS THE THING WHICH THE LORD HAS NOT SPOKEN. THE PROPHET HAS SPOKEN IT PRESUMPTUOUSLY; YOU SHALL NOT BE AFRAID OF HIM," (Deut. 18:20-22) |
