I remember a while back you posted a gentleman singing somewhere over the rainbow. I think that was the tune. But you said that the singer was deceased. I wise that you could tell me his name because i wanted to hear it again. It was so mellow and beautiful. Thanks so much.

Been eating spinach salads fresh from the garden-going to have a lot of tomatoes, soon. The peppers are almost ready and the beans, too.
The Moon is still so beautiful...Had Dewey out for a walk about a half hour ago. Nice and cool, here, in Central New york, now.

Good morning all. Having my morning coffee and brushing my dog. He is a two year old shepard. At one hundred pounds that is a lot of dog to brush. But like many of you I am an animal lover. Surprisingly even though we live in the city we own some woods behind the house. We get visits from coyotes,fox, wild turkey and hawks. We welcome them all and get pretty excited seeing them.
Spinach Salad Yummy. I can grow flowers but don't have much luck with anything but tomatos!

I'll have to watch Ghost Rider then. Nicholas Cage is a great actor. My favorite from him was Raising Arizona, but he also did a good one with Matthew Modine called Birdy a while back.
It seems there are a lot of sci-fi fans here. I know DM certainly is.

Is it the Hawaiin singer? His name is Israel something. If its the one Im thinking of, he sings "over the rainbow"then goes into "what a wonderful world"

Hey you have to tell us about your Shepherd...I was accosted by a very territorial yorkie at the beach today. Man, that little monster had a stout expression on his mug. Dug in his heels and was defending his family like a warrior. He was great.

Hi Milady, aren't those wild turkey something...We have some land in the mountains here and I saw one once run behind a bush, I ran up to it and I swear i had my eyes on it the whole time, but when I looked behind the bush, it was gone. Still can't figure that one out. Yes, when wildlife comes by for a visit, its something to savor. We have a hawk that circles that land too. Hawaiian Hawks are very rare. Hope your day is great. Hello Everyone - all going well here in old RSA. Sunshine again today. We may get used to it eh!

Not much in the way of news from this end. Only my son put hair gel on the dogs fur and made it all spikey and it stuck out in every direction,. The dog seemed to quite like it. I got to bath the dog and dry him next to the heater last night. When you are bored you do some crazy things eh!!!!

Sanjuro - that Yorkie you spoke about, he sounds like a real "little cracker" taking care of his family. You must have a great time walking the beach and seeing all the different dogs running along or swimming. I am jealous!!!

Hi Parlo,
You are right. His voice is amazing. I love the way he combines the two songs. The video that goes along with the song is very soothing and it shows alot of the beautiful Hawaiian landscape. Everytime I watch and listen, it puts a smile on my face.
