Does that tell the Gay activist anything? Even the most liberal states and cities reject Gay marriage. Why can't they go for civil unions and the same rights? Will that now stop that anti-Prop 8 lawsuit as it appears they will lose?

Admit it, you know that's what going to happen.

Happens everytime, some group stonewalls on something but eventually they fade away.

Independence, Slavery, Women's rights, Segregation.

In a culture clash the younger group always outlasts the older one.

Gays should boycott Maine. Ogunquit will go bankrupt. Buncha fruits over there. They will move to Provincetown, MA. What is it with gays and the ocean?

How can human rights in the United States be a vote-able issue? Any consenting adult should be able to marry any other consenting adult in any state.

It simply tells us we need to fight harder.

Separate but equal is never equal, you know, and as long as there are folks out there voting to harm our families, there will be folks fighting for our family's right to exist, and be legally recognized.
