I disagree, I think some women make a very great living at it. Example: Elliot Spitzer's prostitute Ashley Dupre, Spitzer paid her $4,300 in cash also "Dupré has reportedly been offered $1 million by Hustler to pose nude for the magazine, and has received unofficial offers from Penthouse"

Will SF make the law equal so that both men and women are prosecuted? If I wree their attorney,I would ask,"How many men have they arrested for prostitution?". Hooow many were white or other races? I think that this might come under the heading of "Selective Enforcement">

Prostitution should be made legal, because all men's dicks need to be constantly satisfied.

It is o.k. for a man to "marry" a man or a woman to "marry" a woman in California, but they insist upon prosecuting heterosexual activities, where sex workers are involved. That is truly disgusting.

Coverage of this ballot measure continues to ignore the fact that the measure is basically a pimp's bill of rights. Cops are directed to ignore pimps and traffickers. AND the measure takes funding away from a very successful program that helps women who are escaping from prostitution. The person who wrote this ballot measure runs an escort agency, so it's not a surprise they would want women to have fewer options and pimps to have more rights. What is surprising is that the supposedly intelligent citizens of San Francisco aren't reading the ballot measure for themselves. Women will suffer if this thing passes.

What a person does with thier body is thier business; but when a person passes on some type of infection; then it is assault. When a person knowingly conducts a sexual activity that leads to death (hiv), etc; then they have commited murder. So if people would stop using immoral morality to judge, and use science and logic; I believe they would come up with better laws that would make more impact. It is easier to understand a logical law; as opposed to one made on someone's unfounded morality.

Here in nastyville/trashville the cops have been using the prostitutes to entrap men for decades. It is no big secret that most women in the state of Tennessee are just b**ches who make men miserable. There are no entrapment laws here. The police are the pimps of most of nastyville/trashville's prostitutes and being such, collect huge commissions from the sex trade as well as meeting the mandatory arrest quota put in place by police chief Ronal Serpas. The men who accept a prostitutes propisition not only get arrested but fined, have their faces/names/addresses put in the paper and, have to register as sex offenders. It is all about money and ruining men's lives, which is what they are good at.

Why is it ILLEGAL to sell something, that is perfectly legal to give away?....Dumbest thing I ever heard of. Lastly, the only reason the government is against is, is because they have problems with taxing it.

The thing is all men pay for sex in some way. I don't see too many super models going for the guys who are welfare. The attractive supermodels usually go for the man who can pay the most for her affections. If you go on a date, a man is supposed to pay, what is he paying for? He is paying with the possibility of getting the girl in bed at some point. However, the man might not be able to get his date in bed the first date, so the man will have to spend more money to get his date in bed. Just try to get a girl to stay with you if you are unwilling to spend any money on her, it can't be done! Prostitution, is just part of nature. We all have to pay for sex.

If you want a great example of sex tourism industry intimidation, listen to Dennis Hof’s July 28 interview on KGO in San Francisco . http://www.kgoam810.com/Article.asp... San Francisco is debating a referendum to stop making prostitution a crime. Dennis silenced all the San Francisco politicians who have visited his establishment with this: " I wish I could tell you my customer base….But.. oh if I could tell you…. Oh my gosh!..Lot of very prominent people in San Francisco . I hope they keep coming to see me." Some of them must have passed out with fear that they would be "Spitzered" Dennis did the same thing in Feb on WJFK in Washington DC
