ROTFLMAO.....

Liberal NY times columnist Herbert wrote a column before called "Does Obama Get It?" where he laments that Obama seems completely clueless abnout the REAL problems and pain in the nation, meaning unemployment. He said, in other words, HC isn't the crisis Obama, it's unemployment. And as Herbert pointed out, Obama also doesn't seem to have a plan to deal with it, wandering aimlessly focusing on a liberal agenda, rather than the real pain.

AND NOW....

ROTFLMAO.....

Herbert wrote another column, AGAIN questioning Obama's priorities, called "A Word, Mr. Presidnet?"

[QUOTE[We have spent the better part of a year locked in a tedious and unenlightening debate over health care while the jobless rate has steadily surged. It’s now at 10.2 percent. Families struggling with job losses, home foreclosures and personal bankruptcies are falling out of the middle class like fruit through the bottom of a rotten basket. The jobless rate for men 16 years old and over is 11.4 percent. For blacks, it’s a back-breaking 15.7 percent.

We need to readjust our focus. We’re worried about Kabul when Detroit has gone down for the count.

I would tell the president that more and more Americans are questioning his priorities, including millions who went to the mat for him in last year’s election. The biggest issue by far for most Americans is employment. The lack of jobs is fueling the nervousness, anxiety and full-blown anger that are becoming increasingly evident in the public at large.

[/QUOTE]

Yep, MORE AND MORE ARTICLES are questioning Obama, his priorities, and WTF is he DOING?

Obama is watering the lawn while the house burns down, still trying to use his warmed over teleprompter BS....thinking we're all idiots and going to believe him....

10.5% unemployed, Michigan just went WAY over 15%.

16 mil people on the edge of destitution, actual impact is 27 MILLION PEOPLE IN AMERICA...struggling....desper ate...

And idiot Obama and the democrats, clueless and oblivious, mindless like a bunch of rabid dogs....

Eleanor CLIFT even wrote an article that said basically WTF? about democrats have totally lost it.

58% of everyone thinks the NEXT president will be a republican.

Ahem! That HIGHER than the percentage he won by in 2008.

Only 45% would support him again, 49% said THEY WOULD OPPOSE him.

And THAT poll doesn't even name a challenger. Yep. That poll shows, Obama would LOSE just because he's OBAMA. Not because someone else is BETTER, but just because he is OBAMA...a majority of people would vote for ANYONE else but Obama.

Yep, Obama is turning into Carter, part deaux. Incompetent, incapable of leading a nation in a crisis.

Chalk another loser up for the democrats.

Shouldn't the first fixes done to healthcare be the obvious ones? Like tort reform and being able to purchase insurance across state lines ... Duh!

I don't understand why the government thinks it needs to take over the whole system and create a massive entitlement program that will suck our economy dry and put us all in the poor house like other Socialist countries

Fuzzy Math Whisps throughout Costs of Pelosicare

Not only are the POTUS and his administration adept in the ways of the Fuzzy Math Ninja. So too can Nancy Pelosi obscure and obfuscate in the name of taking over our very bodies and end-of-life decisions through the house healthcare bill.

It seems that Pelousy would simply bill us later for at least "two dozen programs whose funding is listed as 'such sums as may be necessary' ":

The list of projects ranges from the "No child left unimmunized against influenza" project to 10 programs in the Indian health care system. There are also programs to encourage people to go into nursing and to spur states to restrain medical-malpractice lawsuits.

The tactic is far from new and has been used for years by Republicans and Democrats alike. The health reform examples are just the latest of what has become known as "fuzzy math" - the sort of budgeting that has been drawing extra scrutiny as the economy sputters, federal spending balloons and deficits deepen.

"If you're calling these fuzzy math, then every authorization bill is fuzzy math," said a Democratic aide, who requested anonymity. "It's not fuzzy math at all. It's not math. That's the way Congress works. You authorize a program, and the appropriators appropriate for it."

Wellalrightythen, isn't this just what's a wee bit wrong with the way Congress works?

Mayhaps why in 2010 we will likely witness a major purge of both parties, especially the one currently in power?

See the article for a number of other examples from current and past congresses of more and more fuzz, like this one noted by a former Director of the Congressional Budget Office:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/nov/...

He said Democrats are counting on spending cuts that "are political fiction," adding that by imposing a new surtax but not indexing for inflation they've invented yet another budget boondoggle future congresses will have to adjust every year.

While this all is not surprising in the least, it did offer up a chance to use this photo:

Bill Clinton to Dems. If you fail to pass reform, you are dead meat in 2010. Get with the program or pack your bags.

If Clinton had passed healthcare reform 17 years ago, we wouldn't be in this mess we find ourselves in currently. The 'turds would have NEVER taken over in '96 midterms, and Al Gore would have easily crushed any Republiturd opposition in 2000.

In other words, it would be a different world, where we never invaded Iraq or Afghanistan, because 911 wouldn't have happened either. 911 was a direct result of Cheney in charge of the government.

Clinton can't help himself. He would tell a lie, to congress, even if the truth sounded better. The correct thing for him to have said is, if you vote for this bill you will be out of a job after the midterms. Why dont this guy shut up and get lost?

Don't let any facts get in the way of your foolish argument. I'll bet that you are getting some kind of public assistance and you are looking for a way to get more. Good lord lady Al Gore is the biggest nerd on the planet and couldn't beat a chip in any kind of election. You are probably a blind believer in global warning. I knew it!

It is the American military, and American wars - both more due to the policies of Rumsfeld, Bush, and Cheney, than Obama. Obama just inherited the mess. I think you are more likely to be an Obama-hater than a peace-lover.It is possible to get trapped in a situation where there is no good way out, and that is what Bush and Cheney have done to our country, and our military, and our foreign and economic policy.

Even if it had been handled better, I doubt if it would have passed then, because of the filibuster in the Seante. And if Clinton had either not gotten into various compromising situations with various women, or if he had resigned when he was caught lying under oath, then Gore would have become President and could have proven what he really was like - instead of floundering around in the 2000 election, not sure of what persona he wanted to adopt. If Gore had not chosen Lieberman for the vP nominee, maybe some folks who voted for Nader would not have bolted the party. so I think you make up wishful thinking alternative scenarios. If the GOP could steal the Florida election in one situation, they could have stolen it in another situation. And if those idiots who used the butterfly ballot contrary to the law, had used a proper ballot, Gore would have won Florida, even with the cheating and vote caging by the GOP.
