Thanks texasgirl. First I have a 12 year old so he doesn't pay attention to that. Second, he has no idea who I am....He doesn't know that I was a cop, shot in the line of duty protecting my partner who was almost fatally wounded. Third he doesn't know that I'm a single parent, sending my kid to private school to get the best education I can afford, and forth, is "Mr. I do no wrong in life" has no clue to raising a kid. My daughter has a humor like me and I'm glad, as she made alot of new friends at her school by "breaking the ice" by kidding about stuff like me.
He can sit here in his self pity all he wants for I know what a great parent and supporter of my daughter. I'm glad I can joke with her and others and if a few "better than thou" comes here and doesn't like it, oh well. When they can show me they are better than me or anyone else here, maybe I'll do more than look at their shi# here!!!
But thanks for the support. I'm glad to see that you KNOW HOW to distengish humor for feelings. I feel very sorry for the kid but blame mom and dad for not watching her. I feel sorry for her and the lost of her fingers, but at the same time, KNOW HER PARENTS WOULDN'T WANT PITY FOR HER AND FOR PEOPLE TO TREAT HER NORMAL.....AND LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE......I KNOW!!!
