Anyone else think we should have commercial service at Pikeville Airport? Why should we pay for an airport we can't use?

Is that are sparsely populated? I tried to find this info on Google but couldn't quite get it, but I think it is. If this is so, it's not going to get used much at all - a waste of money I'd have to agree.
