A hollow spear-like instrument called a trocar is attached to a hydro-aspirator. The trocar is inserted into the abdomen and moved back and forth and up and down in order to aspirate and fluids and some solids which are contained in the abdominal and thoracic cavities, and to puncture as many holes as possible into the internal organs. After aspiration, cavity fluid is injected throughout these cavities in order to dry and preserve their contents. The hole made by the trocar is closed with a trocar button, which screws into the hole.
The incisions are dried and sutured closed. Makeup is applied. Hair is coiffed. Clothing, after being cut down the back, is placed on the body. The body is placed in a casket.
