It has been a helliish couple of weeks for me. You all know my dad was going in for quadruple heart bypass surgery. It went well, ended up having just a triple bypass which was good news. My god it was hard seeing my big sarcastic assholish dad lying there like a helpless giant baby. LOL seriously I wouldn't wish any one seeing a loved one like that.
He's up and breaking all the rules but doing good. But....

TOOOOPID 4000 LIMIT...I GAB ALOT DAMMIT!!!LOL

Two days before he was to get out, me, my mom and my 2 kids were at the hotel and I noticed my mom shaking uncontrollably while napping. I woke her and asked her what was wrong. Of course she said she was fine leave her alone. NOT...I called an ambulance...my god ya would thought the hotel was burning down. Four fore men and four EM-Ts. LOL Mom was embarrassed. The ER was awful! Slow...full of huffers guarded by cops and whinos as well. She was having an anxiety attack yet gave her nothing for 4 hours. I was bitching and waiting to be arrested cuz I was being such a bitch. I'm like I have a father upstairs who just had heart surgery, and shes having a anxiety attack and you leave her there 4 hours and do nothing. Finally they gave her some stuff. She got dressed and they were about to release her when a nurse said...you feel warm. I said well take her temp. Mind you in case you all didn't know, a week prior my mom had had surgery and had a stent put in her leg. Her temp was 103.4. So long story short I ran the kids to taco bell cuz they said they were going to do tests. They said her white blood count was high but that's normal for her. Well I came back to hear a doctor saying so tomorrow morning we will bring you into surgery and my big mouth...shut up!! what??? He looked at me like...bitch who r u???LOL....I couldn't believe what I was hearing



Ended up, her incision was infected and they had to go in and clean it and now she has a wound vac attached. So dad got out the following day, mom stayed another 3-4 days 80 miles apart each way. So it was alot of back and forth. My brother had to get back to work but I was glad he was here for the most part.



So, dad thought it would be a good idea for mom to go to a nursing home for a week or 2 being she had this wound vac on and even though I have worked with mentally handicapped adults for 8 almost 9 years, that is something I had no training on ever. I hated to bring her there and I knew she didn't want to go but she was going to try and I promised I'd bust her out the second she called. Well, lol 10:30 that night, she called. Her oxygen tank was spraying and they couldn't fix it and she kept ringing the call button and no one would come so I went and by then mom was having a full anxiety attack again so I called the ambulance and got her out. She and dad are both home now, which makes life easier for all of us and mom has a home nurse come in 3 times a week to care for the wound vac.



I've been able to catch up on sleep and so far that's about it. I have a messy house which I was in the middle of mega spring cleaning when all this went down. So things are getting back to normal if there's a normal for this. I am just glad they are both home and healing. Every ones thoughts and prayers were truly felt and really appreciated. On-line friends are to me better then alot of friends I have period. And I passed the well wishes and prayers on to my parents and dad really appreciated it.



I am hoping to get back to my mommy board web site here soon. But that will all depend on my time. I will be gone tomorrow again taking care of mom mainly now because dad can't like he used to yet. He's excited doc said he can go fishing again....to a point....and moms still a bit down. So I want to get her out tomorrow.



In the middle of all this my disability lawyer called and said hearing I have been waiting for for 2 years is scheduled for June 27th. I freaked and thought there's no way I'll be able to go. But now things are settling down I will make it...yeah!!



so there's my update. I am sorry it took me so long.
