Dear God, I want to thank you for blessing me with so much food, health, money and other things i need and enjoy in life. I am sure glad you blessed me and not all those millions of children that are poor and sick and beg and pray to you for help. thanks for ignoring them and giving me so much. you are so merciful and loving..i can see it so clearly now.

Although your state in your word that you deceive men, delude men and lie, i know your word must be true. i realize if you want to deceive men like you say you do and did in the bible, then you would do it perfectly. i am glad i know when you are lying and telling truth.

oh yeah, again, i want to thank you for allowing me to live my sinful life and yet you bless me with so much.

god, do you ever wonder why those that claim to love you so much and "do as jesus would do" never give or sacrifice and trust in god like jesus did? they have nice homes, cars and clothes and go out to eat with friends and family because they care so much for the kids that are dying...how wonderful they are.

Dear God, our father that art in heaven. why do so many people claim to believe in you but when they get sick they go to the doctor? why don't they have faith and just believe in your like jesus would? i know they say that the doctor is the tool of god but if they really believed in your power, they would not need a doctor, they would have faith and be healed. or is it that they really don't have faith? we know your word stated that whatever we ask in the name of the lord and believe shall be given onto us. why is it that so many soldiers that lost legs and arms pray to you and their family pray to you and yet they cannot be healed and get back their arms and legs? dear loving and merciful, caring lord, why don't you like amputees? hello, are you there? come in...god, jesus, holy spirit...hello, come in please...are you there?

dear lord, please strike me dead this instant in human time..now lord..i pray in your name..amen.

seems i am still here. maybe, there isn't an invisible man. or if there is, he just is very, very quiet and is just watching.

did you ever wonder why people say they believe but they really don't show it? i see it all the time. the bible states one thing, they do the other. they make excuses for not following the word..like it is really difficult..haha.

we have seen religious leaders admit to sexual sins and we know many of the followers do the same. they do it right in front of god. god is everywhere, they still do it as god is in the room watching. however, they wouldn't do it if there mother was in the room watching. i guess they don't really believe god is there..do they?

ever notice a person born in a christian family becomes a christian and believe their god is the true god. even notice the same is true for jews, muslims and all other religions? no, they are not brainwashed...they made a choice..haha.

Dear Beijar: Man I hear your pain. I'm sorry that you feel God has let you down. Life can be very hard and when our prayers seem to go unanswered, we sometimes lash out as you have done in this thread. God hears your prayers and He loves you. You may think He has let you down, but I can assure you, He has not. God allows free will so we can choose to sin or choose not to sin. We can choose to serve Him or choose not. I'm glad that God gives us that choice. However, with all choices come consequences. Don’t look to man and his mistakes for answers. Look to God. He really can be trusted. Over the years, God has sent thousands upon thousands of missionaries into the world to bring hope to the hopeless. Some choose to accept His love and some choose to ignore His love. However, with each choice brings a consequence. Choosing to love and accept Him brings eternity in heaven. Choosing to hate and reject Him brings eternity in hell.

God’s Word says in Deuteronomy “…I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life…”

Choose life!

John 3:16:“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus said in John 15:13:“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”

Jesus chose to lay down His life on the cross for you. Why? Because He loves you!

My Bible is a book of love letters written to me and to you from God. My Bible is written with Christ's blood and the blood of many others that have gone before me to pave the way to heaven.

My religion is not religion at all. It is a personal relationship with the living God. It comes by way of Christ shedding his blood on the cross for me. Because He conquered death and rose again, I too will live forever with Him.

Churches as well as other not-for-profit entities should never be taxed.

You believe in electricity don’t you? Of course you do. You can’t see it. But still, you believe. You believe because of the end result. I believe in God for the same reason. MM, please read Beijar's post again. If you do, you'll see that he tells God he has everything one needs in life to sustain. He doesn't feel God has let him down at all. He asks for nothing. He has other questions for God.

What he asks of God is why he, a unrepentant sinner, has all these earthly blessings while the worlds children cry for the simplest of things. Why he is given all & suffering children pray to & plead with God to answer their agony.

I believe that there is a creator for all we see!

But I don't believe in the bible, the koran, or any of those other "MAN MADE BOOKS".

You see, man has a tendency to tell tall tales(Lies), and if god didn't write the book himself...I don't trust it!

The main bible christians read is the King James version. If I am correct... during that time, weren't kings looking to find a way to keep his people loyal and under control? Hmmm! makes you think! Also, if the original bible was the true word of god, why did they have to rewrite it(New Testament), it seems the old testament didn't fit in an ever changing world. Plus, why did they need to destroy every copy of the old testament? I don't know... sounds kind of fishy to me!

To me "all" the religions seem to focus on a form of mind control. To be honest, if you find someone religious enough, you can trick them into doing anything you want them to do, as long as you say "God" want's you to do this!

Look at 911, those terrorist really believed that god wanted them to do that! Priest got away with molesting young kids, because they told the kids that god wanted them to do it!

Plus with my experiences in going to several different types of churches, I have seen people swear, fight, and even have sex in church. And they were never struck by down by god or anything.

Plus in dealing with alot of religious people, I've noticed that the ones who are at church the most are the worst people on earth, and to them church is their get out of hell free card(Pray and you will be forgiven of all your sins)!

It's reasons like these that made me stop going to church!

But if you are happy with the current situation, "God bless!" keep the faith! Amen!

People continue to struggle with the question, "Why do good people suffer?" or "How can a loving and personal God allow suffering, especially in His children?" Certainly, God has the power to exclude evil and suffering from the universe. Why then does He not do what He can do? Life, we assume, would be so much more pleasant. But machines do not experience pleasure. To take from humankind the power of choice, God’s special gift to human life, would make us robots doing only the things we were permitted to do. Instead of blotting out sin when it first reared its head in the Garden of Eden, God had a divine plan of sending His Son into the world to be our Savior and give us victory over sin.

The daily routine of adversity and suffering we all face–emotional pain, financial difficulty, sorrow, grief, relationship conflict–is nothing compared with the sufferings of many in the 20th century. Two world wars (including the Holocaust), numerous bloody smaller conflicts, sophisticated weapons of fearful destruction, acts of savage terrorism, and natural disasters of unprecedented magnitude cause theologians and laypersons alike to cringe at the degree of suffering. But such intensified suffering was prophesied by Jesus, "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains" (Matthew 24:6-8). This increase of global suffering impacts the suffering of individuals. Sin has exacted a great toll on the universe and is increasingly active as its reign of terror is coming to an end.

But the Christian should not be alarmed. When God gives such instruction, it must be for a good reason. God can and does deliver His children from pain and suffering. Healing and deliverance are the hope of all who suffer. Yet because of universal laws and principles that God has allowed to rule the world since the entrance of sin, deliverance from suffering is not a blanket benefit experienced by all believers. But there is always available a special help in the time of suffering.

Dear Mr. Bareback: I read this list on these threads before. You must copy and paste them everywhere. They were funnier the first time I read them. Now there getting a bit stale.

Sir, you have the right to harden your heart and to ignore God and His love for you. He has given us all free will. Do with it as you please.

I have made my life's work to lead the lost to the cross. I have worked all over the world bringing hope to the hopeless, food for the hungry, clothing for the naked and medicine for the sick. I’ve worked in Africa, Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and South America. And the one thing I have learned over and over again is this: Time is short. There is simply not enough time to waste on those who have hardened their hearts to the Gospel message. There are quite frankly too many people in the world who hunger and thirst for righteousness. They have not hardened their hearts and they sincerely want to know about Christ and the power of His resurrection. It is souls such as these that I will spend my time sharing the gospel with.
