You may not believe it, but a Pastor from Fellowship Church in Grapevine Texas used a lion in one of his sermons to illustrate the points about the power of God. What are your thoughts about this?

I attended this sermon and all I can say is that it was astonishing. His way of sending the message to people may be weird and unique, but I think it is the best way to show the beauty and power found in God's creation. Very creative!

What more can I say? I don't know how to describe his way of teaching but my reactions is that I was fascinated by how the Pastor think just to get and spread his message to people, very unique and so artistic. Great job Pastor!

At first, I thought it was dangerous to bring wild animals like a lion in a church, but the whole sermon went smooth and everyone including me who attended the sermon were safe. We're so lucky in Grapevine Texas to have a church and a pastor who will do everything just to deliver God's message to people.

Well I think he's been a pastor for long years, and maybe he just want to make his sermons more into reality. He will never do things that could harm people or that is illegal. I'm pretty sure he has his permits, and his lion should be well tamed. I can see that with his actions it could make people more interested attending the fellowship.

I was so amazed and shock when I saw the Lion inside the cage. But when Pastor Ed Young begin the sermon using the Lion's ability and appearance it shows that he was so creative in his sermons. And I'm so blessed I witnessed the sermon. Thanks a lot and please do visit this site http://www.winningwalk.org/ww/default.aspx

Lion was the best illustration of his sermon. He uses a lot of things in his sermons. He really wants people to understand his sermons.

I think Pastor Ed Young never runs out of intelligent ideas of how he would capture others attention. For all we know, creating sermons for others is such a struggle of how will you let people listen and engage in what you are preaching or sharing. Very creative Pastor, perfectly fits for your new series "Wild", continue your good preaching.

Unique way of preaching his sermons but what I observe about Pastor Ed Young is that he sticked and will find a way to have his concept applied on what he is doing. I don't see any problem when he used wild animals since his new series is about "Wild". I know for sure that he is responsible enough on what may had been the result of using those wild animals. I'm always amazed by his teaching, if you're also amazed by Pastor Ed Young, lets follow him on http://twitter.com/edyoung/ . Spread the good news everyone.

:D His really a very controversial pastor, a lot of people makes issue on him but he still keeps on defending on himself and he can defend himself. Like this lion on a church, nothing to worry he just want to make he's sermons more unto reality.

It is easy for me to understand to the topic if I can relate and feel what the speaker is trying to emphasize. Just like sermon. We were fascinated that he literally brought wild animals like a lion to illustrate points about the power of God. True, he is controversial simply because he is creative and unique in his ways of preaching.

After a lion, what could be the next animals he will bring to his sermon? For this pastor, just expect the unexpected for he uses his creative minds for his followers to understand his sermons wholeheartedly.

What was so amazing about it? Did he talk about all of the men that lions have killed, and what man eating lions mean in regards to the mystery of god's plan? Is it considered honorable to be eaten by a lion?

It would have been excellent if the lion ate him. The entire church would have insta-converted to the dark side.
