Why are so many black people so FAT?

I think it's because they use a lot of their food stamp's/welfare check's on junk food and Chinese buffet's, and also because most of them don't work, they sit around and eat a lot of food all day instead.

I am african american and I am not fat. I have a nice booty, and I only eat at Chinese buffetts about 2 times per year. I get food stamps, and what are ya gonna do about it. Barack Obmama is on my side and finall we have a black prez!

When the truth is spoken about Blacks. The only come back from them is( you are a racist). Everyone knows they are lazy and always looking for a handout. Ya they finally got a darky in the White House but only for four years at the most. I would not be surprised to see him get impeached within the next two years. Electing him as president is the worst thing that could ever happen to America. I'm sure a lot of the stupid people who voted for him are now wondering where their next paycheck will come from. Black women work outside of the home in larger numbers thant ANY other race in America, and have for centuries. White women only entered the workforce in any great numbers in the last 35-40 years and now all they can do is complain about how that $40 of their yearly tax bill goes to take care of "lazy black women". What a riot, after we took care of their homes and raised there children when they DIDN'T even have jobs.

And obviously none of you have been to Tennessee lately, where "double wide" isn't just a reference to where white people live.

Look at yourself. Do you exercise four to five times a week and go to the gym, Do you take preventive health decision to make your life better? Do you work with others and provide support to others for them to get in shape and eat healthy?

Stop criticizing, start working out, and get others to do it with you. People bitch, but they do not want to take collective action on this issue.

For me, I cannot have a workout partner because of my schedule. Yet, I find time to run four to five days of week and run about two to three miles.

I do have to admit that I that I have to eat a much more healthier diet and this is a character defect. I to take action and starting eating a healthier diet because of the cost of obesity on society is great and society cannot afford me to be fat.

In addition, I need to provide support and help others to healthier diet. This is a not individual decision, but really a more collective decision that will benefit myself and others

This is the level of action that you need to strive to deal with the problems. You have to start to get brutally honest with yourself and work a plan of action with another person in this area. Both of you are accountable to each other.

Oh shut up.. everyone knows that obesity is a problem in the black community because of what they choose to eat. Soul food like fatback, chitlins, etc. make you fat. That is one thing that black are good at is cooking (and cleaning)
