Maybe I shelved some of my sensitivity when I watched a commercial of Mitt Rpmney being accused of killing some mans wife and no one on the left spoke out against it including my President. I think I stopped reaching for wisdom when I realized wisdom was considered a weakness by the left and I put my thoughtfulness on hold once I found out I was debating people who are intolerant of thoughfulness but will instead do anything and say anything to win an election. You're an attorney. In your profession playing dirty is sometimes necessary to win a case. This election is not unlike a courtroom and when the oposition when asked to choose their weapon and unveiled an arsenal of dirty bombs and WMD's, showing up with a squirt gun seemed silly. I hope you're well.

What do you suppose the reaction would be if Mitt Romney lowered himself to grovel for white votes and filmed a youtube entitled: "The 2012 LAUNCH OF CAUCASION AMERICANS FOR MITT ROMNEY" Nevermind, it doesn't matter. You're in such denial about President Obama you are incapable of an honest answer. If I were you though I wouldn't leap up out of my chair every time someone exposes the Presidents questionable campaign tactics. It make you look desperate. But better you than me. I wouldn't want to defend him. I agree, Willie is desperate to make it look as though are the radical, and Obama is just a decent law abiding citizen.....

Mitt Romney PERSONALLY did 3 youtubes entitled "Juntos Con Romney, Evangelicals for Romney" and "Jews for Romney?" lol- I don't think so. But youtube.......... really? <shrug> Maybe he thinks youtube is where the majority of African Americans get their news and that all by iteslf is both embarrassing and disturbing. IMO of course.

Maybe you're new to politics or something, but all that's pretty standard stuff. And really ... denial? Is that the best you can do to try and put me on the defensive or change the subject? Heh heh heh...... Sir, you are mixing the grapes with the bananas.... Yer either blind, or yer deliberately attempting a sleight of hand, heavy handedly at that.... I am almost sure that if Romney had a specific message addressing only white people, you would at least, be saying its unseemly, or at most, it's downright racist!

Nope nope nope..... That's not the case at all, bob. BB , like me, just hasn't seen ANYTHING that convinces him that Sko is a pedophile. Such unfounded charges only serves to muddy the water and inhibit a meaningful discussion........

Perhaps "My fellow Americans" has become passe and when you tell the populous you want to unite a nation, it's important to divide them first. Either way he's to be admired for putting on such a grand effort into campaigning. Maybe it's just me but he seems to work alot harder at keeping his job than doing his job.

That's also why I think Romney will win by a landslide....... I'm not convinced there are that many undecided. I also think the "undecided" were Obama supporters in 08 and are reluctant to say they're switching teams. People who were emotionally invested in that candidate are reluctant to admit they were wrong. It's embarrassing to say it outloud for many but that embarrassment won't be a factor they are all by themselves in a voting booth. I also think the polls are wrong for the same reason. The race appears closer I think that it actually is. I'm not at all sure about a landslide but I don't think it will be a photo finish.

You mean like pretending a standard political tact is some kind of 'embarrassing' radical action - that kind of desperate? Or are you referring to the rapidity with which some people start hurling accusations?

I don't think it makes a difference if Romney does it himself or he delegates it to someone else. That's a superficial distinction long on form - so long it lacks any substance at all. IMO of course. To put it another way - I'm never shocked when a politician acts like a politician, and this country has NEVER had a president that wasn't a politician.

Just one quote, from Javier Perez de Cuellar: "the measure of a society is the dignity with which it treats its weakest members."

So I'm sure you don't mind that the television commercial which depicted Mitt Romney as the killer of that nice mans wife should fall on Obama for reprehensible, irrepsonsible and inflammatory advertising. Good. I'm glad we agree on something.
