At first glance I assumed it must have been a viscious step-mother. But then again, I cannot imagine any humanbeing, blood-relative or not, who could do such a thing. I will certainly be praying for this child. I am of the mindset that the mother should be locked in a closet and subjected to the same food-rations and bathroom privileges, for at least one month...... The Evil Witch!
I think the evil witch should be sentenced to life in the great ape enclosure at the local zoo, wearing a signboard reading "Horrible Excuse for a Human," and nothing else.

<quoted text>We do have serious disagreements about the need for the health care bill, if that's what you're talking about.
We all agree that there is a need for healthcare, Willie. What we don't agree with is the idea that guvment should orchestrate the scrapping of private healthcare that millions of Americans are happy with. If the Obamacare/tax would have narrowly concentrated on the 40-million, without HC, then we wouldn't have a problem, and Obama may have even been reelected.... People like myself wouldn't vote for Obama even if he walked on water at this point. But, despite homosexual-wedding, illegal aliens placed above citizens and such, many people would have still supported his reelect efforts.

But because its obvious to anyone who's paying attention, that OBcareTax its not 'bout HC, but about guvment control, the people are peod, and Obama will be sent packing in November.

I don't know if obama's still a Muslim, or if he's now a Christian. I do know barry is a bold-face liar, and I also know that converting from the Islamic faith to any other religion is an act punishable by death... I find it odd that not one peep has come from any Islamist.
Yes, not only are they silent on Obama, but I also find it odd that those very Islamists still refer to Obama as; "My Brother, Barack"....

I don't know what you're talking about - and neither do you. I'm always cool calm and collected. I never rant - it's always the other person who rants!!!!
How COULD you make such a baseless accusation. Why, I never ...
Well, okay - maybe once...
;-}
Heh heh heh....

This reminds me of an exchange between Howard Cossel, and Muhammed Ali, where Cossel said: "Champ, you'r in a very jocular mood today".. ali responded; "I don't know what jocular means, but if it describes me, it must be good"...

But Willie, I'm sure YOU know what "jocular" means, and that seems to be you, lately..... I think that move, for you, has been a very good thing. Congrats, man!

Not Morgan Freeman. did you see the article where he says that there is no black prez, yet? Mo' said that barry is 'the first mixed race prez, but he isn't a Black prez.' The 'author' was miffed at him for the quote. told Freeman to 'stick to words that others write for you.'
What an asshole.

Just a guess.
A better analogy would be; If we all agreed that pastries were a good thing, some people would buy cow-pies from obama, as long as he puts some frosting on top....

<quoted text>Yes, I do, Lis, always have, since long before I even started using a home 'puter. I don't think people should have to worry about paying their medical bills when they're sick.
Having said that, however, I am NOT in favor of having medical care handed out like candy to whiny kids. I'd say more but it's getting late.
I agree, RG, to the extent that those who can pay their bills be held accountable. If people have assets, there should be a mechanism to place a lien on those assets, by the healthcare providers. But certainly, we as consumers shouldn't be forced to buy only a very restricted group of insurers. the competition should be opened across all borders, and simple restrictions should be placed by local jurisdictions, for venders of these policies.

We really have no need for an actual discussion of any particular subject, lisw - why don't we just cut to the chase?
Just tell me what character flaw you think is responsible for me being so wrong, and we'll save a lot of time.

I thought that WAS Marvin Hagler..........he looks terrible in a dress.
I think grant was in a recent movie, "The Town", I think, about the Boston bank robbers.... pretty good flick. Might have been about the recently captured "Whitey Ford", not sure tho... So maybe you movie buffs can help me out?

Heh heh heh....

Thats what happens when they start down the winding, slippery road of racial-identity, as opposed to humanity. Thats a road that most liberals live on. One Virginian-idiot on this thread even recently suggested that I have only "two Wests" in congress????

Last time I looked, I had only ONE member in the House, representing my congressional district. I just don't see my representitive, as one having a certain skin color...

They didn't pick Grant for that one. You may have been thinking of Jon Hamm, who is also the star of "Mad Men" on AMC.

I hadn't ever heard of this movie, but thanks for the recommendation. I'll check it out.

My husband grew up on a farm. Back in the 50's and 60's he said women used to come to the door to ask if they could pick up some cowpies out of the pasture for their roses. They were free and they never had to worry about walking in the pasture.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Pisces

It's a great day for fixing anything that needs attention now. That might be a dripping tap, a sick child, an unpaid bill or a miffed partner. However, you'll do particularly well if you need to sort out something connected with official or joint finances or red tape. You might be asked to help someone deal with a bureaucratic problem, especially if they're elderly.
