Would you remember the name of the person that cut off his hair? Would you have created a fuss at the school over the incident, and demanded that everyone involved in the incident be expelled? Just wondering... If that was your son, would you take part in a national discussion of his humiliation? His sister: "“Even if it did happen, John probably wouldn’t have said anything,” she said.“If he were still alive today, he would be furious.” His other sister:“The family of John Lauber is releasing a statement saying the portrayal of John is factually incorrect and we are aggrieved that he would be used to further a political agenda,” she said.“There will be no more comments from the family.” It doesn't take much of a stretch to perceive that he never told his family the details of such a humiliating incident.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be inclined to accept money to keep silent about it, either; so my comments earlier are recanted and I stand corrected. Yet again.

Rudyard Kiplingesque wrote: <quoted text> More than likely the Lakota were reclaiming the land from the Cheyenne. Also, the Cheyenne were nomadic, following the Great herds of Buffalo. They roamed far and wide, with bands going far to the west and south. That's curious. One of the links mentioned that Native Americans have occupied the area since Ca 7000BC, and the Aricara were one of the earliest known tribes inhabiting that vicinity. The Cheyenne had pushed the Kiowas out years prior to being pushed out themselves around 1776 by the Lakotas. Sioux forces also managed to defeat the Crow Nation (1862?) prior to Little Bighorn (1876), pushing the Crows west into Wyoming Terr. That's mainly why so many Crows became US Army scouts in retaliation against their former hated enemies. http://www.crystalinks.com/sioux.html

"The Donner Party", "Battle of Little Bighorn", "The Willy Wheelcart Disaster", and I think "The Mountain Meadows Massacre" in NW Utah was one of their series. The killing of Sitting Bull was the impetus for the Wounded Knee massacre. After he was shot by a Native tribal policeman, the army worried of backlash retalliation and moved to disarm the Native population. During the disarmament, someone fired his rifle, setting off the 'fight' Over three hundred were killed, mostly women and children. The army 'investigated' the incident, and awarded twenty-six Medals of Honor to soldiers who killed the women and children. This is why only One Native American ever accepted the medal, which among the Nations is called 'The Indian Killer Badge'. My uncle was in Korea for the duration of the war, and was at Chosin, during that grueling winter battle, and served four tours in Vietnam. Family history says that he was approached and offered to be put up for the medal, but refused Both times. Might just be family lore, but if you ever met the man, you'd see that he was a killer. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

I was unaware that the young man Romney allegedly assaulted, is unable to deny the allegations, since he is deceased - now that I do know, I understand the position and reticence of the family much better, and so I recant my earlier assertion that they were 'paid' to keep their mouths shut. I feel it was an incorrect assertion, and I stand corrected. Still.

saw a segment of '100 best rockers in history' on VH1. Idiots had Janis Joplin at SEVENTY-TWO. saw that and changed the frickin channel. Who was at seventy-one? milli-vanilli? Probably have justin beiber at two, and taylor swift at the number one spot. This generation knows Shit about music. I'm no expert, but Janis changed music during her time. She made Little Richard look like a little bitch, and Rocked with the best of them. Can't imagine seventy-one rockers better than Joplin. I don't live in that universe.

Neither of those equate to murder.......yet. As for the rest, that is just Chris being Chris. "The world is ending and I can't wait." More lies from the pit of hell, and hell will be more than happy to take you and your lies.

We had stopped for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel in Lumberton, NC when I got a call that my Mom had fallen and broken her hip. They operated this morning and all is well. What amazes me is that the actual operation took about 25 minutes to cut into her hip, remove the Ball from the Socket. Clean out the top[ of the femur (?) and insert a new Ball. Place the Ball back into the Sociket and then close it up. This afternoon she sat on the edge of her bed for about 5 minutes and tomorrow she will stand. Due to her age she will probably be in erhab for about 2 - 3 weeks. All in all, not bad for a 90 year old and todays medicine. Hip surgery has been revamped. Several years ago my bride had both hips rteplaced and they were involved surgery, cutting through muscles which lengthens recovery. Now there is a method where they cut around the muscles and the surgery and recoivery is far less involved. Kinda like when I had my Gall Bladder taken out. Thhree little holes and I went home. Went in the surgery center at 7AM and was home for lunch. It is amazing what medicine can do. Best wishes to your mother.

Going back on what Chris said, they effective told that preacher if he chose to marry a homosexcual (gay is shorter) couple he can not do that, despite anything his religion might believe. Like most things, this isjust more government limiting religous freedom without a defining "good" for the benefit of society. No, it is obvious to a Christian that Homosexuality is a SIN and is considered an abomination (1Kin. 14:24) and (Lev. 18:22). Punishment see (Lev. 20:13), see (Rom. 1:24,26,27 where it is called impure. Homosexuals among others will not INHERIT The Kingdom of God (1Cor.6:9. It is curious you would use the word "gay" for brevity. I know people who are named Gay and a lot of people, including myself, who are gay (the traditional meaning). The true Christian Church will refuse to marry homosexuals. God said it, I believe it and that settles it. For God and Country.

Rudyard Kiplingesque wrote: <quoted text> You got more bone than brain in your head. Sexual orientation is hard-wired into us. what you're saying is that like 'preference', we have the choice to be whatever height we want to be, our eye color, and even what sex we are. It don't work that way, son. Your bible says,'judge not,...' but you judge. It also says 'forgive', but you don't. so much for your bible. Huh? I do not believe nor does God (see my last posts that homosexuality "is hard wired into us". We have no choice about what our height, eye color or sex we are borned with. Sadly medical science has perfected a method to change ones sex. God said something about "Judge not lest ye be judged". Yes, we are sinners, all of us and we all judge when we shouldn't. Yes, The Bible says to foregive and I can tell you unequivocally that I do foregive. I also ask God to foregive me and guess what, He does everytime and remembers my sin no more. That is the way I work, son. For God and Country.
