Does a loving God Torture?

Ok Fundies, if your God tortures how can you call that God "Loving"?

You say God loves each and every one of us. Yet this same God will torture for eternity anyone for the slightest infraction of any rule. This same God allegedly killed it's only son to appease it's own anger from an event thousands of years before that son was born. This is a Loving God? In scriptures this Loving god has exhorted people to commit genocide and to own slaves. The last supper of the son of this God was ritual Cannibalism - where is the Love in that.
Would not a Loving God forgive all People, regardless. Is not Forgiveness the greater part of Love?

It isnt the "slightest infraction of any rule." Its refusing Christs gift. Thats the ONLY thing that keeps you from Heaven. If you refuse the gift of Heaven, then you dont get it. Just like all other gifts.

Second, God didnt kill Christ, man did. Also, it didnt kill Him, just His Earthly body from which He defeated death and arose on the third day. Later, he ascended. That was the reason He came here in the first place....willingly.
