The band Mountain just released an album of Dylan songs. I really like the album a lot. Their version of Masters Of War is very powerful. Ozzy Osbourne, who I don't much care generally, shares vocal duties and the song absolutely rocks. In my opinion. Great choice.

I like the main theme and arrangements of music from the movie "A Bridge Too Far," by John Addison. He started out wriing incidental music for live theater. His career took off very well after he got into composing music for movies and TV series. The "Murder She Wrote" TV series had John Addison's theme.

Ohmygosh! Best Christmas album ever is by the Andre Kostelanetz orchestra & chorus. Came out in the late 50s, early 60s. Magnificently recorded and arranged. That particular record was the prime album used by nearly all radio stations for their commercials and station promos as well as played on the air. And it still sounds great after all these years.

A Bridge Too Far is a movie I dont miss even though its a Movie not all that good for the cast. I'll pay more attention to the arangment of the pieces next time. I love Classic Rock arrangergements but I'm very accetic. As far a Music for a Movie.... "Clockwork Orange" and Beethoven was Brilliantly used.

I never saw the movie itself. I just like the music. I'm really into movie music. I like the way the music is arranged for different parts of the movie.
In that regard, music from "Mondo Cane" was really great. The theme was used as a love song, which became a huge hit called, "More." Then it was a concert march to accompany a German beer drinking festival. And a really great ride on a motorcycle in Italy.
And yet another march arrangement for the Life Saver Girls segment.
