There are MANY different translations of the Bible.
And I'm sure people who don't believe in Christianity and live and let live when a lot of so called Christians do the same, instead of trying to force their beliefs unto everyone else, trying to dictate how people should live their lives. A lot of Christians don't "live and let live", by sticking their noses into the lives of non-Christians, or those who don't believe the same, trying to pass laws based on their version of Christianity, trying to take away rights of those who don't believe the same.<quoted text>

We also have:
Psalms 86:13 For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
We also know there are greatest and least in Heaven. with these verses about hell and knowing what we do about status in Heaven, it seems reasonable IMO to think there may be levels of hell worse than others reserved for some of the most heinous crimes. While all sins lead to second death, what takes place after is anybody's guess.
Ironically, I personally think it is more likely the soul is destroyed in hell. It would take me way too long to get into all the reasons but just one one verse is:
Matthew 10:28
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Nut I allow for other interpretations to possibly be correct as well so as to your point about special places in hell, I see a Biblical argument for it..if indeed our souls don't perish.
