It's just paper and ink. It has no meaning. Maybe she was stranded in a snowstorm and had to burn the Koran to survive along with the 35 Kindergartener's in her charge? She may be a hero. I think a statue may be in order. Or another face on Mt. Rushmore.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Bush41 apparently said this and has never apologised for, or retracted it? Nor has his Bush43 distanced himself from such a view?

Mr Bush doesn't lack education, nor a western environment and hasn't been brought up to hate a 'Great Satan'- like some crazy Mullah's and others who incite violence. Perhaps Bush41's prejudice does have something to do with being brought up 'in the faith' though?

One should be willing to challenge all one's beliefs every day.

Lindsay Graham doesn't want to end or even diminish free speech. As far as I am aware he is simply suggesting that publicly burning the Koran may lead directly to violence in which a number of people (including US troops) would very likely be killed and injured. It simply makes sense not to burn the Koran at this period of history. It's not worth someone losing their life. There are other ways to point out that religon (or a religion) is nonsense.

Religion is superstitious nonsense.

I had a friend who married a Muslim in America. After she had a child, they visited his parents in his birthplace. They placed her and her child under lock and key. She was never to return because she was to remain a prisoner. She was beaten and raped. So was her son. Homosexuality and pedophilia is a way of life over there. She eventually escaped but they killed her son in the process. She lives here in complete fear but she will never write a memoir about her experience. I wish she would. The United States should cut off all contact with these savages. They should be ejected from this country. Every slimy one of them.
