Why does Emory University (linked to Coca Cola and Jimmy Carter) promote Buddhism, when most people in Atlanta don't quite understand what Christianity means. Now that the Dalai Lama is an Indian citizen , he should take a page from Ghandi's ( Ahimsa of Jain origin ) and Satyagara as he took on the most powerful nation on the planet at that time instead of riots, massacre, mass killing of the 5 girls in Lhasa and the sanction murder of thousands of Chinese in corroboration with the CIA which was never the style of Ghandhi who quoted the Bhagavadgita alwasys preaching the Yoga of action, the yoga of nanya ( knowledge ) and the Yoga of Bhakti.Even in Death , his last word was Ram ( God ) .
