I don't recall a direct attack on the United States by Nazi Germany. If you want to argue that they attacked our allies, then you can lump in most of the countries that Vict, the anti-semite, posted originally. The biggest difference is that in WWII we waiting quite a long time to get involved, at the expense of many lives.

The Usa was attacked by Japan which was part of the Axis forces, which included Germany.
In short a "legitimate war".
What he mentions in his post are "illegitimate wars".
