Supreme Court says drug company representatives are 'salesmen'

Correct decision reinstates an older decision and it's a reversal of the lord marshal b. h. obama administration...

Very touchy subject and should be determined more by the department they accommodate more time with. For example salesmen, sales engineers work more in the marketing or sales arena and application engineers or a technical drug specialist would work in the design or manufacture arena. Both spend time with companies and clients but more so the salesperson. If the product is off the shelve it would be more salesperson and a custom design would require the specialist e.g. private labeling drug or or working on a new product development.

The issue these days is about not paying salesmen hefty commissions. So what they did was give them a salary instead and call them something else. Now you are saying you don't want to pay them over time, simply bs.

But if they are on the clock of any sort they get over time.
