Is Romney likable enough to win?

On my ACME Like-o-Meter Romney went from a 4 to an 8 whereas b. h. obama dropped from a minus billion to a minus trillion.

Enough already with likable. We need competence.

The guy in there now is likable, but inept... and now we are in a Depression.

Is if more important to like the person, or what the president will do to make the US stronger, more stable and a better place to live?

It is, of course, as sales pitch, but also an outline of what the party thinks ought to be done. Keep in mind Romney has his own ideas, and if he is elected he is not bound to the platform ... but then neither is Congress.
