Well, there is a huge difference. If you choose not to see it, I can't do anything about that, but I see it, as do most of the people of the world....
Discrimination is discrimination, no matter how you justify it.

People have denied being black too, many very successfully; that doesn't mean being black is a behavior.
Sexuality- whether homo or hetero- is an orientation, not a behavior.
I can have sex with a woman my entire life, but it won't make me a heterosexual.
If I never have sex with another man doesn't mean I'm not a homosexual.
It's an ORIENTATION, not a behavior.
You hit the nail on the head -- thank you! Good comment.

It COULD and often WAS hidden. MANY blacks passed for white. Are you really that ignorant of history?
Not at all, as far as the word 'many', that you are wrong about....few maybe, and once they were found out, they were tortured for doing so....

Discrimination in the law always has been and always will be necessary. We throw it around like it's always something bad, but it's a part of our judicial system as it has to be for many reasons....

Just because there's always been discrimination doesn't make it right nor necessary.

Homosexuals may change their behaviors, just as heterosexuals change their behaviors. That doesn't mean any of them have changed their sexual orientation.

No, you are right...being black is not a behavior. The fact that it's something 'the vast majority' of black people can not hide is what made them get discriminated against.
So you are saying that having sex with a woman for your entire life when you are homosexual is possible???
Homosexuality is a 'behavior'. You can put whatever spin you want on it, it springs from behavior....
You are dead wrong. Homosexuality is not a behavior, any more than heterosexuality is. You can be a homosexual and never have sex, but you will always be attracted to the same sex. This is not something that a homosexual can control. To try to explain it in plain terms, when a homosexual reaches puberty, the sight of an
attractive makes their sex organs respond. It is not something you can control; it just happens - the same way that a heterosexual will respond sexually to an opposite person. Whether you act on these feelings is irrelevant; you are still a homo- or heterosexual based on what you find sexually attractive. It's NOT a choice!

Sure, a homosexual male can have sex with a woman if she stimulates him enough, but a woman is not his choice of a sexual partner, and not his choice of a life partner either.

I personally do not believe that is the case here. There is a fundemental difference between race and sex. Two people doesn't mean marriage. One male/female means marriage. Remember the song we sang as kids...
"Timmy and Barbie sitting in a tree..k-i-s-s-i-n-g....
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage"...remember that???
You've got to be kidding -- I'd like to see you tell THAT to the judge.

Really what you are saying to me is your behavior can change, regardless of your orientation.
But why would someone change their behavior if the find someone they're attracted to that has the same sexual orientation? In other words, why would a gay man pursue a relationship with a woman when there are other gay men who are willing and able to be their partner?

Don't presume that you speak for most of the people of the world; you'll find many, many people who disagree with you. All discrimination is based upon someone feeling that another person is inferior and not deserving of equal treatment for any reason.

I don't have to speak for them. They speak for themselves...

I believe the times are a changing back towards common sense, instead of whatever we feel like doing today...

On that we agree....

Gays are attempting to change society, they are working with feminists making new gay converts just from children.
