We don't see much support for any attempt to repeal Constitutional Amendments, or other methods of restricting gay "marriage" in any of the 39 States enacting such laws. The phenomenal rejections by voters in 30 of those States conflicts with any use of propaganda to dissuade people from their views.

Voters are usually the older folks - the younger generation doesn't vote with such frequency.

Hatred for gay Americans, and fear of the "different" is more prevalent among older Americans, but, as they leave the voting pool, things will change.

The change toward equality for gay Americans has been amazingly fast, as civil rights struggles go. 25 years ago marriage would have been unheard of. Now, it's accepted ny the majority of those questioned about it.

Today it is accepted in multiple counties, and several US states. MANY court cases are coming through the pipeline to overturn discrimination in various states, and to overturn DOMA.

I would suggest not worrying about other folks's families and worry more about your own. Harming other families is NEVER going to make yours more secure.

America, like my country, was primarily settled and founded by people who were Christians and/or came from heritages/cultures of judeo-Christian values. Not all were actual practicing Christians, but many came from cultures of judeo-Christian values.

Judeo-Christian values was the reason America used to have slavery because the bible supported slavery and racism. We got rid of that. Judeo-Christian values was the reason women couldn't vote.
