I am just thinking of the future of Thailand after HM KIng Bhumibol. As we aware of Thai People put their high respect to their King but apparently it could be a big problem when he is not longer in his palace. With current un certainty of politic in Thai and a lot if politician act like a clown...do you see that in Future Thai will be in a big problem?

Hey Bronk,
I agree with you. When the current King retires, does the Prince automatically become the next king? |

There will be a huge vacuum left when HM KIng Bhumibol dies. May he live a long life!

The Crown Prince will be the successor.

HI,
Iv'e lived in Thaialand for 8 years it's a wonderfull country full of kind and helpfull peole, everybody but everybody loves and respects His Majesty The King and the Royal Family including me. The beloved king has always been available for his people, I know of no other King that has done so much for all of his subjects. LONG LIVE THE KING LONG LIVE THE KING David Laine expat from UK |

DonnyBoy said it well There will be a huge vacuum when H.M. Rama 9 passes away. The crown prince may be next in line, but H.M. also gave "Royal" crown titles to his daughters. It has been said centuries ago that there will ONLY be 9 monarchs in this dynasty.
LONG LIVE THE KING! |

The great king is the only person keeping the rats from trying to take over.If anything happens to him I will go to the Philippines, at least until the dust settles.

The Thailand King is very helpful to his people. He is wonderful and perfect to be a King. He is the most kind King i have ever heard, seen, and think.
LONG LIVE THE KING |

I have heard that the king is generous to all Thai
people with no doubt, but his successor (if a male) will not be accpted by most of Thai people. After that there could be a big trouble in Thailand (some interesd groups will support a male). The only way to avoid such situations is that the king (before his death) must officially declare that his successor must be a female, otherwise there could be a Thai revolution just like the ones in France and Russia. |

Long live the King

I am confused who's led
Thailand into the present mess and crisis. The king is too old to get involved. |
||||
|
I would prefer Princess Sirindhorn to be the next monarch. His son is very irresponsible man and he does not fit to be King from watching his wife was forced naked at the pool party.
|
||||
|
Thailand's economy will collapse when the king dies and Thais know it. The only thing that will safe Thailand is if the King chooses Princess Sirindhorn as his successor (which he can do, the Crown Prince is NOT the automatic successor).

whatever happens when the king passes will be up to the respect the morons that live here have learned from his wisdom and dedication to all thais. one thing for sure is thailand will be worse for the kings absence and better for thaskins permanent absence....
