How classless is this woman, and at our own U.S. Open. It reminded me of Barry Bond's steroid induced tirades a few years back. Serena should never again be allowed to represent the United States in any international events. Shameful.

I often talked with my students about apologies. I regret that I didn't always do this, but in my later years of teaching, if I made a mistake and scolded a student unfairly in class, I would make a point to apologize to him/her in the same classroom setting thereby also grasping a teachable moment. This is about showing that you are ready to be an adult. How many times have we heard of someone who embarrassed someone publicly and then 'apologized' privately? I wish "adults" would do this. Hello Venus and Joe!

Why is it we have so little respect for true sportsmanship that we let athletes get away with this low life behavior?

She should have been thrown out of the match. I don't care how well she plays tennis.

This goes for the prima donnas in all professional sports.

Sarena is one ugly woman. She is like a raging gorilla! I am glad she lost. She is like that South African runner, she (or he) could be a man. She is also typical of a black person, she lacks self control.
