This guy should never have been released from prison without his DNA being input into the national DNA base, CODIS. I think we should make sure all DNA profiles are processed into CODIS prior to release. In fact, now the law allows for the DNA to be taken on arrest. It is critical that the DNA is taken and immediately input into CODIS. It will save investigation time, prosecution time,court time and it will save lives. It helps to prevent so many crimes.
