Hmm, science has a long way to go, it's still unable to explain the most basic thing on/in Earth.

To you. But there are always going to be people like you. So science teaches those who ARE teachable.

I had an idea someone would fall for that, but not you, Mr Undoubtably Spelt Fourty.

OK, teach me all there is to know about the science of gravity.

Perhaps it would be advisable to first learn the gravity of science ?

Well you had an idea HA. First you need to stop the hate and the useless babble. Now get a good book maybe first grade science and do your own home work. You’re the typical person that can hear but you never listen.

Nah. It may be age or congenital but the condition is 'Hard of Listening'. It strikes aristocrats more than most so it may be from excessive inbreeding.

Which is going away first, oil, solar, or wind?
Toss up between solar and wind. Last time it was solar.

As for oil, as long as people need to cross oceans we will still have a need for oil. As long as people have headaches and want asprin we will have a need for oil. Funny thing is oil is used to make hundreds of products.

But Aspirin isn't one of them. It was made from plant extracts such as willow bark. Wind and solar will always be here.....oil will not. It will one day become much too expensive to use for fuel as we are seeing the beginnings of now.

Yet there are still hundreds of products made from oil. Everything from medicines, to parts on electric cars like the tires. Asprin was once made from willow bark, it is now made from oil.

As for wind and solar, they have always been at the mercy of the weather. They will be repeatedly be tried and they will fail for all the same reasons. As for oil, the actual experts and not the doom and gloom crowd is predicting no shortage of supply for the next eighty years at least. As for the to expensive comment, they were saying that back in the seventies. They were predicting that we would no longer be using oil by the turn of the century. Looks like they are off by at least a century.

Most everything now made from petroleum can be made from other sources. Petroleum is not the end all for the human race.....it's just more convenient than some other sources. Prices will continue to rise and one day price it out of the market.

"steenking piddling diddling middling mudling mudslinger dirtling" doesn't have a hi skule deegreee or teaching certificate to ask or demand anthing from anyone.

But here's some space mechanics:
If you turn on the retro-rockets on an orbiting spacecraft to slow down, you speed up.
If you turn on the rocket engine on an orbiting spacecraft to speed up, you slow down.

Meanwhile, "steenking piddling diddling middling mudling mudslinger dirtling" is a slimy steenking filthy vile reprobate rooting(& rotting) racist pukey proud pig. The last sentence is a gift to all.

Before 1960, the average oil well was 2600 feet deep. Presently, the average oil well is close to 8000 feet deep. If the average oil well depth becomes 16,000 feet, oil won't be convenient. Oil will be lower in the well, AND your bank account will make you say,'oh, well!'.

Please direct me to a site that explains how petroleum is used in the manufacture of aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid )
Materials

•3.0 g salicylic acid
•6 mL acetic anhydride*
•5-8 drops of 85% phosphoric acid or concentrated sulfuric acid*
•distilled water (about 50 mL)
•10 mL ethanol
•1% iron III chloride (optional, to test purity)

The indirect cost of escalated petroleum use may prove a real problem...

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Virgo

You have a very high opinion of a certain person today, believing that they can do no wrong. But how realistic are you being? It looks as though you're viewing the world through rose-colored glasses, which is fine if it's only a temporary state but quite another matter if you're deliberately ignoring problems and pretending that they don't exist.
