A Cool-Headed Climate Conversation With Aerospace Legend Burt Rutan

An architect and his wife spent a "couple of great days" with an aero guy and his wife at their "new beautiful home" conversing sometimes about climate.

This is a good essay on how many skeptics became interested in man made global warming.

It does mimic my own foray into the subject. When the IPCC 'lost' the MWP to the hockey stick, I started to investigate how that happened.

I read the climate web sites, but don't take them as credible but as a entry into the actual data. I think everyone should get their information from the papers written by scientists, not the newspaper headlines or the 20 second media sound bites.

Unless you are totally uneducated, you too, can work your way through most of the papers. The equations are presented, the data is there and the conclusions describe the authors viewpoint.

In today's world with google, or any other search engine, it is not hard to find reviews of each paper, the pros and the cons. Any researcher knows you must investigate all opinions in order to arrive at a reasoned conclusion.

Don't let anyone tell you that you are stupid, unable to comprehend, not intelligent enough, you're not. The data is presented in a way that is easily understood, it is up to you to determine how deep of an understanding you get from the amount of work you are willing to do.

Nothing is free, your understanding of climate science is paid for with the time you spend acquiring the knowledge.

Also, ignore ff aka fossil fuel. He pretends to know science but he does not. He only repeats what science denier blogs say.

The deniers are in a mess of their own creation. They don't have a foot to stand on. Even the weather guys don't deny the man-caused climate change. Seriously speaking.

Long time AGW denier interviews another long time denier, who wants to develop 'fun' tech 50+ mile high ride for the rich to waste a lot of fossil fuels, so they can look 'way way way' down on the poor Earth-bound peasants.
