Sikhs Can Carry Knives on Airplanes in India.

Yes they are and rightly so. Never have Sikhs been told to take off their Kirpans.. and nothing has ever happened involving a Sikh and his/her Kirpan while on board of a flight.

Also It would be appreciated if you would not use the word "knife", as a Kirpan is so much more.

yes the 9/11 attacks were very dreadful, the killing of inocent humans be they in america, india, iraq, or palestine will always be very sad. 1) It is not the fault of any innocent muslim that 9/11 happened. To be honest, the terrorists from 9/11 are not Muslims in my eyes.
2)It has recently been suggested that it was the conspiracy of George Bush. I don't know if this is true, but if it is, you can't blame muslims.

There is no doubt that to often too many evil acts have been committed in the name of Islam and now many people are symathetic to a 'war against islam'. I strongly suspect that the Sikhs are direct descendants of that ancient Sacas that arrived in India around 700BC from what is now Iran. The Saxons that migrated to England also came from Iran at the same time.

If that is true, then the Sikhs and English are two branches of the same family and therefore it is not very likely that the Sikhs would terrorize the English and vice versa, since neither has any history of doing such things.

I was reading everyone's comments on this.. and this is really sad to me that everyone was focusing on religion, religion and religion.. Why?
Why nobody ever came up with something like 'safety of passengers' no matter what religion you belong to. Any item that has potential to be used as weapon should be banned whether it be kirpan or cutter.. Again I have nothing against kirpan. All I am saying is anything that can be used as weapon should be banned. Now there is nothing wrong with this.. Now lets take for instance.. A sikh is sitting in plane with kirpan.. And there turns out to be a maniac who decides to hijack this plane.. and out of nowhere he knows that sikh always carries kirpan that he can use as a weapon. Answer this, what would really stop him from snatching this kirpan off of this Sikh's head.. Nothing.. So logically it makes sense not to allow such things for safety of passengers..

Oh one more thing.. Somewhere I think innocent Muslims are brain washed by teaching wrong morals and sometimes even forcing them to do things they don't want to. Question is why this religion? I think all muslims and their leaders should do something about this.. If Quran, Islam drives these kind of actions then they should revise it
to bring peace in this world. I heard there are few things in Quran/Islam that leads to Violence.. And their Quran main teaching leads to ruling this world.. I may be wrong.. Excuse me if I am wrong..

The problem I have with that statement is that I can kill you with one finger to to the correct location on your body. Accordingly that makes ALL fingers "potential weapons" and you advocate banning ALL FINGERS, which to me means that all fingers must be amputated before anyone can fly. That is as ridiculous as some of the stupid things that are banned now.

However, this whole thing will soon come to a head as there are several things going on around the world that will soon coalesce into a permanent solution in around 4 years or so.

Recent relatively unknown events happening in the U.S. are swiftly pushing the U.S. into bankruptcy, which, when it happens, will turn the U.S. into a third-world country overnight.

When that happens, Europe will become the only super-power in the world. Most likely that will result in a knock-down drag-out religious war (Catholic vs Muslim) with the Muslim world. I fail to see how the Muslim world can win such a war with Europe having nukes & well organized standing armies whilst the Muslim world at best has few if any nukes and small fragmented armies.
