As a matter of fact, I am currently on the track team, and I personally think this is just disgusting. Not only did he coach us, but he taught 5th graders. And normally a pedaphile's acts would just increase. When our head coach told us Coach Krapf would not be coaching anymore, he would not tell us the reason. That night, when I went home, my mom was watching the news and asks me about my coach. I had nothing to say. I was disgusted, and in shock. I couldn't believe he would do that. But I think the school district did the right thing by suspending him. And to everyone saying the guidance counselors are bad, and do not know how to deal with this kind of stuff. I think it's very ignorant that you are judging the conselors when you do not even know them, or give them a chance. And to the people who are defending him; he has committed a crime. Yes he has not been charged YET, but this investigation has been going on since November. The police would not have kept investigating this case if he had done nothing. So yes, he did do something inapropiate. So in my opinion, he made a huge mistake, which is a crime. And everything that is being brought onto him, it's what he deserves.

I agree.... a judge won't give a search warrant to confiscate a computer without real evidents and lots of it.... He is going down!

They can get a warrant because you back talked them during a traffic stop.

"FBI agents can write their own search warrant with just the permission of their superior, no judge at all..."
Judge Andrew Napolitano

"The American legal system has been corrupted almost beyond recognition, Judge Edith Jones of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, told the Federalist Society of Harvard Law School on February 28."

I'm not assigned to the case in question and am only speculating about State Police investigation practices. Thanks for your concern.

<quoted text>Conggratulations!!! You don't think they can catch you for being a nut if you are a true investigator. Our names and addresses are known on this website. If you were real you would not have posted such things.
Thanks for your concern. I have nothing to hide on my hard drives.

I believe Judge Napolitano was referring to the use of the USA Patriot Act's National Security Letters which are very similar but not the same as your traditional search warrant which still requires a magistrate’s signature.

what the wrote:
To "Hand in the Cookie Jar" and others:
While there is certainly merit to what you are saying, you should use some common sense before getting all worked up about a few people defending Mr. Krapf.
I think its quite obvious who is coming to Mr.Krapf's defense; his former students. Judging by his age and teaching experience, his former students are mostly in the 11-18 age range. These kids are obviously shocked, confused, and upset. For many of them, Mr.Krapf was their favorite teacher. And for many of these students, its impossible for them to fully comprehend the severity of the issue. Many of these students cannot grasp what Mr. Krapf did wrong and why he should be punished. They've only seen his good side. So, it's quite understandable that many of his former students are/would stick up for him.
I highly doubt any self-respecting adult would truly defend Mr.Krapf's alleged crimes here. The overwhelming majority want to see justice served.

Are you kidding me? ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
You want "our parents to be active participants in our childrens lives"
They are OUR children, NOT YOURS.
Not sure you understand what I was saying. The school in this case did not send "timely" letters to the Parents with Children in this school. As Parents we need to be active participants in our Childrens lives so the schools "need" to inform us more timely of these incidents so that we CAN Be active in communicating with our children on matters such as these. I was saying, the school did NOT do that. They did not get notices out to the Parents in a timely fashion so the Parents could be proactive in handling any questions or concerns their children might have/had..........AND hello........I have Children that were affected by this and I would have liked to have known about this earlier than hearing it "through the grapevine". Also, the part in the news where they said notices went out.....I DID NOT GET ANY NOTICES, hence my concern, thank you very much!

I agree that he might be an agent but if he is not working this case, he just offered his knowledge of how things are done. I agree that the state police would just not open this can without solid backup. I also agree with talking with my father, police officer that they are trying to get from him others that are out there doing the same thing. They may lessen his sentence a bit for him ratting out a few other sick perverts.

Until this man has been charged with a crime there is little more than speculation here. If he has child porn on his computer, they will find it and he will be charged. If they don't, then I hope he can move on with his life. An investigation by authorities or even a search warrant does not mean a person is guilty of breaking an law. There are many instances where a neighbor was stealing internet access or an ISP incorrectly reported an IP address to investigators. It is understandable that parents are concerned about the safety of their children but please let the system work before condemning.
