I think its a little late for them to be trying to convince UMass Lowell to locate the ETIC Building in Devens. They had already chosen a spot on UML North and are going to break ground in the spring.

You got to be kidding me. The Devens' buildings are in terrible shape. There's a huge, empty corporate campus built by Sun in the '90s in Burlington that's much closer to Lowell than Devens. Why would it make sense to spend millions to rehab the Vicksburg buildings using money the state doesn't have?

Two comments - day late and a dollar short & idiots! Oh, it IS a good fit but where were our leaders 10 and up to a few years ago? Ayer keeps electing and more importantly re-electing people with no vision and no sense of timing. If they would only listen. Their only defense might be lack of having a professional planner (yes I know they hired one). Their current mode of operation is unless they hire ($$$) a consultant they are lost.
